It's been a three weeks since Dalton started working at the Pendery Restaurant.
Three weeks of non-stop subtle flirting from Dalton. Cole had to admire how persistent (in a cute way) and determined.
Dalton tried his hardest to spend time with Cole.
He tried getting the same shifts and schedule as Cole so they work together though he forgot that Cole is technically in charge and can Chang the schedule when he sees fit.
Dalton made sure Cole noticed his efforts.
When Cole was with a particularly ridiculously attractive male costumer that Cole had been chatting up, Dalton decided to "help" him out.
He wasn't going to loose his chances with Cole to some wannabe Adonis.
Dalton even tried other awkward tactics.

Dalton had been late to work because of school on Friday so he brought his bag pack with him and decided to work on homework during the slower shifts.
After helping a costumer he flipped to his math homework and started working but got confused really quick.
"Dammit, I give up!" Dalton yelled from back in the kitchen.
"What! are you okay?" Cole asked he placed the dishes into the sink and began cleaning.
"It's just my math homework. I hate geometry!" Dalton said as he looked down at the random lines and numbers in his page.
"Oh. Really... I'm actually really good at math." Cole said as he walked over to Dalton rubbing his hand through his hair. "I'm not just a pretty face."
"You're good at math. do you mind......" Dalton asked showing Cole his work.
"All you have to do is use the angle formulas then solve for x and apply x in each equation." Cole said taking Dalton's pencil and pointing everything out.
Dalton had to admit he was a little bit impressed and blown away. Cole was so cute and he touched his hand.
"You lost me at 'all you have to do and formulas." Dalton said shaking his head. "maybe you or I could work on this outside of work at either my house or yours maybe tomorrow 7?"
"I don't know......... I don't know if I have work or if my families' doing anything or......"Cole said trying not to get reeled in by Dalton's charm.
"Nonsense, Cole you can have the day off , you've been working too hard. We don't have any plans for tomorrow. Just help Dalton with his multiplication or whatever," said Mrs. Pendery trying to get Dalton with Cole.
"Okay, sure. 7 at your house."
"Okay, cool. thanks" Dalton said while screaming internally.

Cole had showed up at Dalton's door at 6:45pm. He, for some reason was dressed nicer than usual.
He knocked on the door and Dalton answered the Dalton in only black jeans and white socks. And his hair was wet and drooping over his face.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I just had a couple things to do and jobs to finish and some volunteer ours to complete. Come in and follow me, I just have to dry my hair and put a shirt on, sorry." Dalton said feeling over exposed and ridiculous.
Cole went with Dalton up to his room. He couldn't help but stare at his butt in the black skinny jeans.
Dalton had everything set up in his room, hair dryer, neat closet, math book, some snacks and even a TV with DVDs. Dalton stood up to dry and style his hair ,feeling very self-conscious.
Cole watched Dalton's back as he dried his hair. they contours of muscle in his back and arms as he moved the dryer to get all of his hair. Cole was completely awestruck.
Cole hated to admit it but the boy in front of him looked ridiculously sexy.
Dalton grabbed a ripped shirt with huge arm holes to wear. The shirt had a band name on it with a skull and a cane.
"Okay so I just don't understand how to solve the equation if it's the negative exponent with the fraction in BEDMAS." Dalton said not noticing that Cole was staring at him.
"Oh, oh yeah okay well do you remember the exponent laws then you apply those first." Cole said sliding closer to Dalton to see his work.
Cole and Dalton actually started having fun hanging out. Eventually they got bored and decide to play some pranks on Dalton's sister and watch a movie.
During the romantic part if the movie Dalton started asking Cole about his love life.
"Okay so what's with your parents and your flirty attitude with the costumers?" Dalton asked in joke.
"Alright so the Pendery parents like to hire optional soul mates for me. they have always loved to play Cupid but I don't like them doing that because it feels wrong. The scholar, the peaceful hip person, girls, the sports buff, actor, poet, etcetera. They always try too hard to keep their jobs by trying to get me to like them and I just don't like that." Cole replied.
"Damn, I guess I'm doing a shitty job then," said Dalton making Cole laugh. "Crap! I got to start making you laugh. The job is in danger! Oh dear me."
Cole continued laughing for awhile. Dalton loved how he looked when he laughed. he didn't look as mechanical compared to when he was at work.
"I don't think you'll lose your job, don't worry about!" Cole said between laughs
"Oh really, why not..." Dalton was saying as he was interrupted by Cole's lips on his.
Cole grabbed the back of Dalton's head and brought him closer and deeper into the kiss. Cole opened his mouth slightly wider.
Dalton could believe that this was happening. At first he didn't know what to do with his hands but they eventually reached up to Cole's sides.
Cole began pushing Dalton down onto the bed, deepening the kiss ever so slightly. Cole ran his hand through Dalton's hair as he felt Dalton's hand skimming the sides of his body. Finally Cole pulled away and sat up.
"Why not you ask? Because you're different and I like it." Cole said, sending a wink and a smirk Dalton's way.
Dalton was still struck by how amazing one kiss could be.
Cole grabbed a pen from his bag and wrote his number on Dalton's arm.
"Text me," said Cole peaking Dalton's cheek and waving good bye and walking to his car.
