Lucy's POV

I woke up to my alarm clock. It read 4:23am. I stretch, smiling. I got out of bed, wearing my pajamas. I walked over to my desk and sat down in my chair, opening my notebook, I grabbed my pen and started writing. I spend 3 hours writing my song and decided to out on my balcony.

I started singing the words I wrote down.

Love is something I will not feel.

You took the purest feeling I felt when I thought you were the one.

I put my trust in you,

But you crushed it when you stole a kiss from another.

I thought you were the one,

But where did it go wrong?

My voice began to tremble as tears came down my face.

I thought you were my dream come true,

But you stomped it to the ground.

Did I mean nothing at all?

I guess I am just a thing of the past.

  I gave my all,

  But it was never enough.

You know that you were my first love,

And I know that has changed.

  So,

  You know what?

I won't let you be the one to hold me back,

Because I know who I am now.

I am worth the love you couldn't show,

  But you wouldn't know that.

It's okay if you're with her,

Because I know you will realize that she isn't who you thought she was.

You won't realize it until it's to late,

But don't run back to me,

  Because it won't work.

  You blow it,

  And I have moved on.

  Thanks to you.

I can't finally be the real me,

  The real me,

  The real meeeeee!

I finished the song breathing heavily.

Gray's POV

I heard a voice singing near by as I took my morning run. I decided to follow it and I stop by a corner, seeing a girl with beautiful, long blonde hair. I was hidden in the shadows, so I could listen closer.

"It's okay if you're with her,

Because I know you will realize that she isn't who you thought she was.

You won't realize it until it's to late,

But don't run back to me,

Because it won't work.

You blow it,

And I have moved on.

Thanks to you.

I can't finally be the real me,

The real me,

The real meeeeee!"

OMG! She has a really good voice. She seems to be singing about her ex though. The guy most be a real jerk, Gray thought to himself.

She sighed and walked back in what I supposed was here room.

Gosh! She is beautiful, but I know I can't stalk her or ask her out because she looks like she just got out of a bad relationship. I gotta think of a way to cheer her up. Oh I know, I this to himself.

I grabbed a flyer out of my pocket and ran to her house and slide it under her door carefully, then ran away back home.
