The both of you had known each other since high school and had been dating since then.

Kai was an idol in a group call EXO. According to his contract with SM, he was not allowed to have a girlfriend, but he loved you too much to leave you.

Hence, only the EXO member, your parents and his parents know about this relationship.

Kai was the sweetest guy you had ever known. He always tries his best to find time between his busy schedule to spend time with you. You, as his understanding and caring girlfriend understands his passion for his dreams and did not blame him for not spending enough time with you.

Your biggest wish was to watch one of his concerts live. Though Kai invited you a lot of times to watch it, you were reluctant to do so as you were afraid that the secret would somehow be discovered when you made an appearance at their concert.

Kai understand your feelings and tried to make it up to you by spending more time with you.

Recently, there were rumors saying that Kai had a girlfriend but nobody had any evidence. Still, you felt pressured and was even more careful when meeting Kai.

You were preparing to meet Kai when your phone started ringing. You picked up the phone.

"Hello, is this (your name)? This is EXO's manager."

You were shocked as to why EXO's manager calling you.

"We recently heard that Kai has a girlfriend and just yesterday, a fan spotted the both of you together. Is this true?"

Your throat felt dry as you answered "Ne ... We are dating ..."

His manager heaved a heavy sigh and said "The best solution is for you to leave him now so as to cover up this whole scandal. He is very talented and can definitely acheive even greater things. If you really love him, let him go and pursue his dreams. I will wait for your reply."

You ended the call feebly.

You dialled Kai's number and lied to him that you were not feeling well and would not be able to meet him.
