You slumped in your seat in depression. It seemed like Tao really hated you a lot. Whenever you tried to talk to Baekhyun, Tao's bestfriend, he would always hiss at you before disappearing from your sight.

You would be upset whenever he did that but Baekhyun would give you his squarish smile and reassured you that Tao was like that to everyone else.

"But he don't do that when he was talking to you ..." you argued.

"That is a different case Mindy-ah. Tao is shy around strangers."

"I am not a stranger! We are classmates!" you said indignantly.

"True. Kkaebsong~" Baekhyun gave you another reassuring smile and the bell rang signalling for you to go back to your seat.

You were lost in your own train of thoughts while the teacher was blabbering about some complicated Maths concepts. Out of the corner of your eyes, you saw Tao glaring at you. Your were even further disheartened. How were you going to make Tao stop repelling you? There must be some kind of misunderstanding between the two of you.

You decided that you should speak to Tao personally to clear the misunderstanding before things get out of hand.

"Tao! Wait!"

Tao hastened his pace upon hearing your voice. You ran after him, panting heavily. After all, Tao was well known for his martial arts and he has got great stamina. You had to run fast enough to cover up for his big strides. Even so, nothing was gonna stop you from talking to him.

Finally, after like 10 minutes of running, Tao stopped walking and gave you a piercing stare.

"What do you want?" Tao asked you without even moving his lips.

You stood there for a moment trying to catch your breath.

Tao frowned slightly. "Stop wasting my time." Irritated, Tao started to walk away again.

You grimaced in pain as you tried to gasp for air, after that crazy workout, your lungs were not functioning properly. You tugged at Tao's sleeves, asking him to stay. He crossed his arms infront of his chest, tapping his foot impaitiently.

"Erm ... Tao-ssi, is there something wrong with me? I realized that you kept avoiding me." Finally, you were able to blurt out a sentence.

Tao raise his eyebrows "Is that all you want to tell me?"

You nodded your head vigorously.

"I don't need to avoid you, I just don't talk to peasants like you."

His harsh words sent shivers down the length of your spine. How could someone be so mean? You could feel hot tears welling up in your eyes as Tao walked away coolly. You stood on the spot dumbstruck. What had you done to him to deserve such a treatment?

"Mindy? What happened?" Baekhyun asked you in concern, he was looking for you. He took one look at Tao's lanky figure walking in the distance and looked at your tear-stained face.

"Did Tao bully you?" Baekhyun asked you softly, wiping off your tears for you.

You shook your head, looking down at your feet.

"I am very sure he make you cry." Baekhyun sighed and hugged you.

"Don't be upset. He is not in a good mood today." Baekhyun patted your back. You hid your face in Baekhyun's muscular chest while listening to the steady beat of his heart.
