Valencia Carter
"Lina, can you please stop calling everybody and get me some water." My voice came out hoarse.
"Oh, I'm sorry." She ended her phone call and left the room.
Moments after she left Sebastian came rushing in, basically tackling me into a hug.
"I missed you so much." He said in my ear as he held me in a tight hug.
"Move!" Amir pushed him off of me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "I missed your smart mouth ass!"
"No yelling, daddy!" The little girl pinched his leg making him jump.
"You little mo-"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence." Malina walked back into the room. "Auntie Val, meet Malia."
"She's a cutie. Any other babies you two have?"
She pursed her lips, "Amir has a son."
"Amir...so you-"
"Cheated, yes he did." She pushed past him to sit on the edge of my bed.
"So you two-"
"Nope."
"But we're working on it." Amir told me and she rolled her eyes.
"Where's my baby?" I asked while looking at all of the drawings on the wall from him. It brought a smile to my face.
"Probably terrorizing his teachers. Your 'baby' is bad as hell."
"Your dad's bringing him."
"So what have you been up to? Any girlfriends?"
He smirked, "Wouldn't you like to know."
"I actually don't care. I'm just catching up."
"Well no, I don't have a girlfriend."
"Mommy!" Elias ran in and jumped on the bed while my father sat next to Amir. My eyes teared up looking at him.
"You've gotten so big." I raked my fingers through his soft curls. It's obvious he got my good hair gene.
"Don't cry, mommy." He wiped my face and hugged me around my neck.
"I've waited so long to see that handsome face of yours. You've been a good boy for me?" He nodded in response and Sebastian shook his head.
"Don't lie to your mother, boy. Tell her what you've been doing."
Elias side eyed him and looked back at me with sad eyes.
"I hit this girl, but she hit me first and daddy said if someone hits you then you hit them back."
"That's not all you did." Sebastian said making Elias suck his teeth.
"I pushed a boy off the slide and daddy is talking to his mom. He likes her." He looked back at Sebastian with a smirk on his face before returning his attention back to me.
"Really, what she look like?"
"She's not as pretty as you, mommy."
"Your mother is ugly though." Amir interjected.
"It takes one to know one."
"That's right, you tell him." I laughed, giving him a high five. "But you can't be bad at school. Promise mommy you'll do better."
"I promise."
"Speaking of promises, you have two to uphold now that you're awake." Sebastian smirked making me roll my eyes.
