Arranged Marriage (Part 1)

(A/N: Werewolf and Vampire AU.)

Akko POV...

"Um do I really have to wear this dumb dress?" I mumbled as I patted it down, "I mean, this is just some dinner with a friend of yours, in which I don't want to go." I said as she combed my hair.

"Look, this woman is not just a friend." She sighed, "She is an old lover of yours?" I asked. "Oh God no! She was such a pain." Mom groaned. "Then tell me again why are we going to eat with this woman? I mean, Azura isn't coming either, why can't I stay with her." I shrugged my shoulders. "Look Akko, no talking back, we're going and that's final." Mom said in a warning tone.

I groaned in annoyance and backed up as soon as mom started spraying perfume at me. "Hey what the hell!" I growled as I smelled the itching mixture of flowers and everything nice.

"If she really was a friend I'm sure she wouldn't mind a bit of our dog smell." I sneered as soon as we pulled off into a really huge mansion. "Atsuko! I know you're annoyed by this, but just put up with it. And don't you dare compare us to mere dogs." She growled.

I rolled my eyes and walked behind her.

"I'm soooo boooooored!!!" I whined. "Were not even there yet and you're already complaining." Mom groaned.

"I want you to behave." She said with narrowed eyes.

I nodded but backed up a bit as a very horrid smell came through my nose. "What the hell! Why are we in vampire territory!" I exclaimed. Mom sighed. "Did you really just notice that?" Mom sighed. "Its the Damn perfume! Its blocking any other scent! You put way too much!" I exclaimed quite embarrassed. "Don't yell at me young lady!" Mom yelled as her fangs grew. I stayed quiet and turned.

Mom pressed the doorbell and the doors slowly opened by themselves.

"Who are they trying to impress." I huffed, in which I received an elbow on my side.

"Sorry." I mumbled as we walked in.

In the corner of my eye, I noticed a young girl sneaking out through the window. I rose a brow and looked at Mom.

"Leave her be." Mom sighed.

I always liked to rebel against my Mom and just do the opposite when I'm sure I won't get in trouble for it. This seemed like one of those day. "I'll be back." I grinned as I sprinted towards the same window the girl jumped out of.

"I'll just look around." I mumbled as I walked around and tried to take in the different scents around, but the damn perfume blocked almost everything.

I walked around and observed at the well-kept garden, the grass evenly cut, beautiful flowers, a fountain with the statue of a beautiful woman.

I swallowed a lump on my throat and contempladed over doing of what I was thinking on doing.

"Well, Amanda is always saying that we only live once in a lifetime, take chances, so why not." I mumbled to myself as I stuck my head on the fountain... Well was about to anyways until the voice of a girl broke me from whatever mischief I was to do.
