(A/N: so this may have been uploaded later than what I promised and I apologize, but I forgot I also had some summer classes 😳. Well, I kinda rushed this chapter since I srsly have been taking so long. Its also nothing of what I was originally planning on writing lol.)

Diana POV...

"I hope it is to your pleasing Princess." one of the cooks smiled as she set down a plate in front of me. "Thank you Mrs. Kagari." I simply said.

"Are my parents not joining me today either." I asked towards a servant. He looked at me and gave me a pitying smile, "Unfortunately they are busy today as well Princess. Maybe if you wait a few minutes." He suggested as he bowed his head.

I let out a sigh and started to eat, there was no point in waiting.

*-*

I went out to the garden to see if I could keep my mind occupied in finding out the name of each flower again.

"Good afternoon Princess Diana." I heard someone joyfully say. I looked over at the gardener and smiled at him, "Good morning Mr. Kagari."

He usually would tell me interesting stuff about the many plants around here, it was the only reason I even knew the species of any of these plants.

"Dad, are you almost done, I've got somewhere to be." That was a new voice, I looked over to where a girl was walking around looking at some of the flowers.

"And what exactly could be more important than work?" Mr. Kagarai grunted. "My friends." The girl replied with a pout. "Friends come and go." Mr. Kagari sighed. "So does work. You don't see it that way since you've been working here taking over your own parents. But if you see the lifestyles of other they get a job, then lose it then they go for another." The other responded with a grin.

"Well you got me there. But its best you start learning at this age about work. So help me out." Mr. Kagari ordered. "Why can't I help mom out instead." The girl whined. "Becasue you will burn the castle down if we let you near the kitchen. You aren't the best cook." Mr. Kagari laughed in wich was a bit contagious since I giggled a bit. The girl seemed to have noticed me and looked at me questioningly. Quickly I composed myself, but I could still feel heat rise up my cheeks.

I noticed her smile a bit and turned back to bicker with Mr. Kagari.

In the end the girl ended up doing some work while Mr. Kagari left to go get some more supplies.

The girl quite annoyed started doing the job, though it was lacking, she didn't do very good.

"Hey pretty girl!" I heard the girl exclaim towards me, though I wasn't even sure she was talking to me. I looked back expecting someone else to be behind me, after all I was never addressed like that by any worker or citizen in this country.

"Yeah, the one on the blue dress, think you could help me out a bit, please." She sighed. I was a bit baffled at hearing such a tone from someone that wasn't my Mother or my Father, not even they would address me in such manner to be honset.

I walked towards her, she had a grin plasterer in her face while I was glaring at her.

"Here you go. Think you could cover for me. Tell my dad -he's the gardener- that it was getting late for me." She said grinning as she started to run off, though I was able to stop her.
