(Jimin pov)

I flashed him a smile after he took the fruit from my hand, he  quickly dropped his head back down, his cheeks flushing a light pink. Yet his face still seemed too pale.

He took a shy bite from the apple and continued to scroll through his phone, still deciding to not make any effort in communicating with us.

I noticed how horrible the boy looked, his hair looked as if he had just escaped from a burning building. His clothes were crinkled up, his skin was so pale it looked as if it was purple.

The bags under his eyes were no joke, i'd never seen anyone with under eyes as dark as his.

yikes.

His face was the palest shade of grey, it looked as if he hadn't seen the sunlight in years. Like a vampire perhaps.

All kinds of thoughts were flashing into my mind, was this my fault?

my anxiety started to kick in at the moment,  my heart was beating fast. I instantly blamed everything on myself.

What have I done.

I just wanted to help him, But I know he'd never accept my help.

for the past while i had been acting as if he was the worst person in this whole situation, but really. It's me. I'm really the bad person here.

"Jungkook" I began

He lifted his head from his phone to show me he was listening, yet he still did not make any eye contact with me or Yoongi.

"Are you okay?"

Jungkooks eyes averted from the empty table he was staring at and he finally looked into my own eyes.

"Ding ding"

the bell that signalled that their break was over interrupted the boy from speaking, and their manager busted in the room to assign them to their duties.

Jimin couldn't take his mind off him for the rest of the work day.
