Chapter 8

I was home alone. As my mother has gone to my aunt's place, I know there my aunt is going to talk to my mother about," that you should make Tanya agree for marriage, working in our family is acceptable and all that stuff, I don't understand her sometimes".

I don't want to think more about it so thought to read a novel. I have to complete a novel to read which is left, so as decided I read a novel, I don't know how time passed but it was to meet Sonu and if today I got late , she will definitely eat me alive.

I got ready and went to the cafe, I reached there and on the window side boot I saw Sonu, is was on a call that's why she didn't notice me. "Please god, she should have reached now, if she would be waiting for me, than I will be gone", I prayed to god.

I went towards her and sat in front of her, she mouthed two minutes and continued on a call, I guess that would be urgent, because when ever we meet we don't use our phone.

After a time, she kept the phone, she looked tensed. " Sonu, anything wrong?" I asked.

" Um, there was a group project going on in my office and the guy who was going to present tomorrow, has taken a day off as he has to go out and my manager gave him the leave, no every one are telling me to present, but you know, I have stage phobia, i can't speak in front of many people and this presentation has to be presented in front of directors, what should I do", Sonu said.

" Sonu listen, first calm down. You have the ability to present, you have that power to show, that no one can beat you, and about this presentation, you have being working on it from last 2 months and your head told you to present as he show you have the ability, you have a chance to show everyone that you can do it, don't you remember in our first year, my presentation was stolen and you had disclose it in front of everyone who had stole the presentation and saved me from failing a year", I told her and she was looking at me with nervousness.

" Tanu, I know that day I was furious that how can someone do something like that, and I can do anything for you, and you know that, and I spoke in front of the class by thinking that there is no one in front of me and only you and the teacher are there", she said.

" See you got the solution, think only your team is there in the conference room and no one else, and give your best, I trust you Sonu, I know you will nail it", I said and she smiled.

" Tanu!!! you are the best", she said and we laughed.

"Now tell me, how was the interview?" she asked.

" I am starting from tomorrow",I said and was waiting for Sonu reaction.

"Yay, see I told you you will get this internship and believe me after a month they will appoint you permanently", she said.

"Yes, but I also have to score nice marks, than only it will be confirmed", I said.

"Tanu. you are a topper, everytime before exams you get tensed and be worried and then you top the class," she said and looked at me accusingly. 

" I gave her a shy smile and converted the topic," Let's order something, I am hungry", I said.

" Don't change the topic, and let's order", she said.

We ordered our regular, A pizza and chocolate milkshake. We were waiting for our order and Tanu said," How is your boss? Is he hot?" Sonu asked.

"Stop it, he is my boss," I said and blushed, as I remembered out clash.

"Ohh someone is blushing, I think he is hot, Tanu you love to read boss and employ romance novels right?" Sone said teasingly.

" Sonu shutup," I said. 

She gave me a smirk and thankfully dropped the topic.

"Did, you told aunty about it, she would be so happy", Sonu said and I became tensed.

" What happened? Something wrong?" Sonu asked.

" No I have not told mumma yet, she is at my aunt's place will tell her at night", I said.

"Did something else happened?" she asked.

Than I told her everything about my aunt and her perspective about me working, by the look I came to know Sonu is very angry.

"What the hell, what is with your aunt?, I really hate her from the beginning, don't worry we are in this together, we will talk to aunty", Sonu said.

Yes Sonu hated my aunt till no end, if possible she can break our ties with her and vice a versa, my aunt too hates Sonu till no end, for her she is spoiled child and a brat, she has even tried to break my friendship with her, biut our bond is unbreakable.

As we were chit chatting er heard a throat clearing and as I looked up I was shock, it was unother than Neel, my brother from another mother, Neel, me and Sonu were like three musketeers in childhood and after schooling Neel had yo shift so we broke apart, but physically, we were always in touch tho, so our bound is a same.

"Neeeeellll, I and Sonu both shouted and jumped to for a group hug.

"Girls, my ears", Neel said, and we grined. 

Some one cleared the throat and we looked at that direction and I was shock, there was unother than my boss, Mr Rohan Mehra, what is he doing here and that to with Neel, I guess Neel read my thoughts he introduced us to my boss.

"Ohh so sorry, I forgot to introduce to my best friend from college and a very well known business man, Mr. Rohan Mehra" Neel introduced him and my mouth opened wide.
