Chapter 16

Ring ring ring!! Ahh this alarm, let me sleep please! I said and turned off the alarm, I lazily opened my eyes and saw it was 7:45!

Shit! I am late, I jumped off the bed and went to the washroom to get ready for office, I just have little time to reach there, I will definitely miss my bus today, I swear tracking on Sunday was a bad choice as I am damn tired and my whole body is aching, I really want to take a day off but I can't as only 2 weeks are remaining for my internship and I want to get the best of it.

I got ready fast and went downstairs, where I saw my mother sipping tea, "Mom, why didn't you wake me up, I am late", I said.

"Baby, I thought you were tired and you wanted to take a day off", she said.

"No, mom I can't, now bye I am getting late", I said and rushed out the door, I was hungry but thinking of food is the last thing in mind right now.

Today I have to catch the cab only, as if I waited for bus I will definitely be late, I thought and hailed the cab.

"God, please make me reach office on time, please", I prayed silently.

Thankfully I reached office before time as there was no traffic,I rushed inside and sat on my table. Ahh my legs, they are paining really bad, there should be no running work for me today, I thought.

I started doing my work which I had to complete it for today and also I have to prepare a presentation, last time it was not so good, but this time I will put in more efforts and surely do my best.

Atlast it was lunch time and I was damn hungry so I went to the cafeteria.

I ordered a sandwich and watermelon juice, I seated near the window and on my phone to see as I haven't checked it since morning.

First message was from Sonu saying, "LOVE IS IN THE AIR", I didn't understood first but then I saw the photo attached. It was of me and Rohan, we both were asleep, my head on his shoulder and his on my head and I was holding his arm.

We literally looked like couples, this photo made me blushed hard.

"Shut up, when did you clicked the picture?"I asked.

"When you both were in your own  dream land", she typed
"Ain't you working", I typed.

"Nopes, my whole body is paining, I also woke up late so.." She typed.

"Oh, I am at work, see", I said and clicked a selfie and sent her.

"What a dedicated employee you are, I am sure your boss would be happy with you", She typed with a wink.

"You know I had to, I also woke up late and my whole body is paining", I typed.

"Enjoy your day, I am going off to sleep", she typed.

"Later I again saw our pic, I added that into my favourites, we look so cute together", I thought.

"Tanu, shut up what are you thinking", I said and slapped my forehead.

Later I realised, "how I reached home? I don't remember waking up and going to my room and sleeping on my bed", I thought.

Then slowly by slowly I remembered, I was really sleepy, Sonu tried waking me up, but I was not, I got grumpy and holded Rohan's hand very tightly, later he also got down with me and made me walk to my house, and made me sleep on my bed.

"Oh, shit what happened, it would be so embarrassing, I was not leaving his hand, he had to come and drop me off, also what would mumma thinking, how will I meet Rohan in the meeting, how will I meet all my friends, I am sure they will tease me to no end", I thought.

"You are mad Tanya, how can you sleep", I thought.

Now what will I do? Should I call it a half day? No, no, I can't, I have to  prepare for my presentation and today Boss is going to give us important pointers, I can't miss it.

"What will I do", I thought and put my forehead down, food is far away forgotten.

I decided to call Sonu, but I know she would be asleep and will get angry, this situation you only have to handle it, Tanya be strong, don't worry, just try to be professional, and leave as soon as you can, don't contact him more then necessary.

Yes, I will do that, I decided and went to my table and continued to work. I just don't have to think of it.

But one thought continuously is in my mind is that we really look great together, that picture had my heart.

"What will happen if we really were a couple?" I thought
