Chapter 11

I was shocked to see Tanya at the cafe , she was having a deep conversation with her friend, and the other shock I got was that she is Neel's best friend, I swear I have heard Neel talk so much about her two childhood best friends, but the confusion was that the two girls were younger than Neel then how come they were friends?

I was amazed by there connection, even after staying away from each other for years their bond was amazing. The two girls both were shocked, the surprise face was something to adore, especially on Ms Tanya, she looked so cute. The way they shouted, it was embarrassing but worth watching.

Ms Tanya, got really shy after seeing me there, I know what she is thinking, that I am her boss, and this behavior is unprofessional, but we are not in the office, outside office we don't have to be professional or say distant, I have to talk about this to Tanya. 

Neel asked if we both could join them, but he didn't introduced me to the girls, I know Ms Tanya, but as my employee, not as my best friend's best friend, so I need an introduction and also the other girl, she is more of a jolly person, so I thought to add my presence there.

"Won't you introduce me to your friends?" I asked Neel.

"Oh, yes! These are my two childhood best friend Tanya and Sonu", Neel said.

I was shocked how, can he be their best friend, they both are younger then Neel, I thought to ask this later, we sat with them, Tanya and Sonu excused themselves to go to washroom and somewhere I am sure this is because of me, I can sense nervousness in Tanya.

As they went to washroom, Neel asked," I seem to see that some one has  crush on my friend?"

"What, we all met for the first time, how will I have a crush on some one so easily", I said and diverted my eyes. I right now don't want Neel to know anything about me and Tanya, till I am sure, but he being my best friend will catch me easily and that is what happened.

"You are telling a lie, I know you", he said and I sighed.

"Okay, Okay, I have a little crush on Ms Tanya, we have met a couple of times", I said and looked at Neel, he was sitting with his mouth open.

"What? How come", He asked.

" I and Ms Tanya had a little dramatic scene, she was in a hurry and she clash into me and also today as she is going to start working as an intern in my company, I took her interview", I said.

"Oh wow, that means that you could know more of her and in future this crush can turn into liking", Neel said teasingly.

"Neel you know me, I will never mix me person and professional life together, so there are very less chances of what you are thinking", I said.

"We will see, but man Tanya is a gem, I know her inside out and now you will also know her and we all will be meeting frequently". he said and I nodded.

It's true we will be meeting frequently as Neel is here, so it's obvious, I know them both from Neel, whole my college life and also work life from the time we have met I have heard about them, and also wanted to meet them.

I have to make one thing clear with Tanya about this, by this time I know that she is very shy person and get's nervous very easily with the thought that she is going to be judged, I need to talk to her as I want to be friends with her too,and make things clear of not mixing professional and personal life.

As Tanya and Sonu came, we all talked with each other and by the time Tanya also got free and was behaving openly with me, we were teasing Neel and it was like Neel vs. Us. it has been just a day or say few hours to meet them and I have started liking to spend time with them. 

After some time we all left, tomorrow Tanya is starting her work and I heard her talking with Neel and Sonu, how nervous she is and that is very normal, but I am sure I will clear the talk from my side after working hours.

...Next day...

I am having a hectic day, I had meetings after meetings and also had meetings with the interns at the end of the day, I like to teach my interns technics and skills to improve themselves by myself as my mentor my Dad had also done the same and I want to and am walking on the same parth.

In the meeting I first let the group leaders give the report of themselves and their group members, I always make clear that be open to criticism as they help to move ahead and make yourself better.

After the meeting, interns left and I thought this was the best time to talk to Ms Tanya, I went after her and stopped her before she left, and talked to her about being friends in person.

Today I liked the way she worked, she has a potential in her, she is nervous yet confident, she kept her point of view really nicely.

I ran after her, as I called her, she turned and looked shocked to see me, and also was nervous.

I know the feel, Boss calling someone after working hours it's obvious to make someone nervous and shock.

As I reached near her, I said,"I wanted to talk to you that, we are going to meet each other frequently as you being my best friend's; best friend and also my employee, but one thing I want to make clear is that let's keep things differently, if we meet with our friends let's be personal and not let our professional relationship come in it and in office let just be professional".

"Yes Sir, I completely agree with you", she  said and nodded her head, I saw how she left her breath after I said.

"So Miss Tanya, can I call you only Tanya in person and you can call me Rohan in person",I said.

Just her name sounded so good with Ms, I know my feelings are getting higher, but I need to control my self it has being only 3 days we have met, I want to know more of her, but with the blush on her face I also know she has a crush on me, so it's a win win situation right?!

"Okay", she said.

"So let's meet on Sunday like friends, as we are going for an outing with Sonu your friend, Neel and Neha", I said and she looked confused, I guess I spilled the beand early, she didn't knew about the outing.

Before she could say something I said, you will come to know everything by Neel, so don't worry for now. 

So Tanya, I will take a leave, will see you tomorrow, I said.

"Yes sir, Thank you, will see you tomorrow, take care," she said.

I smiled and we both left on our way. I am really looking forward for the Sunday outing, I will get to know more of her personally. I hope she works hard and get a job here permanently, I really like her working style, let's see what happens in this one month.
