Chapter 27

ROHAN MEHRA

I was waiting outside Tanu's college to meet her after her ceremony, I have planned a special date for us. Sonu is also added to the plan to help me and let her ditch her college party. Not completely ditch but half of it.

I have already asked Tanu's mom about the date, so she don't have to worry about talking to her mom.

I am waiting for her in my black shirt and blue jeans, as I wanted to twin with her, I knew she was going to change into black dress after the ceremony.

As I was standing, my breath got hitched when I saw her exiting her college in the dress, she was looking damn beautiful as well as hot, I have seen her in dresses but today is different there is a glow on her face a happiness, she is also looking confused as Sonu is dragging her out.

As they reached a safe distance, Sonu pointed at me and Tanu was looking at me with shock, I guess she couldn't believe I would be here, her eyes showed happiness and spark. Which made my heart happy.

She moved towards me with a smile and I moved towards her, I gave my hand to her to hold and she took it happily. "The flowers are for me?" she asked like a little child who is asking for a candy.

"Ohh, sorry, this beautiful flower, for my beautiful girl", I said and handed her the flowers and she took it happily.

"Thank you, and why this date suddenly?"she asked.

"Umm, it's your special day, and I wanted to make it special and it wouldn't be possible if we didn't met", I said.

"You look cute", she said and giggled.

"Seriously Tanu, cute?" I said.

"Yess, you look so cute while telling me about today's date", she said and pulled my cheecks.

"Tanu, stop", I said.

We went towards the car and like a gentle man, I opened the door for her, we drove to the nearby park where I had planned our date, it was not only special for her but me also, as I know this special and small gestures make us both feel good, like one time when I had an important deal to crack and I was very nervous, she had sent me breakfast and a cute note about how it will be all good, when the deal was over she just on the trust that I would have cracked the deal sent me the lunch, and to make it more special she had taken me on the date.

We never had that thing of only guys paying or planning a date, we had planned many dates for us many times, celebrating small small success in these 3 months of us dating.

If we couldn't meet, we would plan a date on video call, by both of us cooking and sitting on terrace talking for hours, and that would make it even more special.

So today we are going to the park, but it would be a fancy dinner and this park is a restaurant.

I know she will be shocked and hesitant, but I will handle it and make it special for her, as it is her day.

I had told the manager to decorate the whole entrance with flowers and also the sitting area with balloons and candles, just like how she had described in her book, it was her imagination, and imaginations come when you think of it or want it, because of her, a person who didn't like to read books, have started reading all the romance novels, and for me the non movie person who used to hate seeing movies started watching movies.

Every Saturday we decide on a movie night where we watch it and talk about it, and complete reading a novel in a week and same. Its good to learn and exploration for both.

We reached the place and I asked her to close her eyes, first she whined but without any option agreed to it. I hold her hands and took her to the pathway, she opened her eyes, and her face was worth removing all my nervousness, she walked on the flower pathway and we reached the center table. As she reached, balloons and flowers fell on her head. She looked so happy like a small child and it was worth everything for me.

This smile will be my priority, I decided at that moment, and I will make any efforts to be with her and support her.

"Thank you so much", she said and hugged me tightly.

"Anything for you", I said and stroke her cheeks. She smiled and kissed my cheeks.

"It's beautiful, and everything is like I have written in the book, all the small details as well", she said and giggled.

"You made today's day twice more special for me", she said.

I smiled and took her to the table and made her sit. I had ordered both of our favorite food as our likes are same in the food category.

We had our dinner and talked about anything and everything, I had also planned on a dance so after some time, the musicians came and I asked for her hand, first she was confused but when she heard the music she took my and stood up, we both were swaying on the rhythm and the feelings were same as the movies.

After the date, I dropped her at her place, I got down with her and entered the building with her, we stopped at the entrance and turned towards each other, she was about to say something when I stopped her," I don't want to hear thank you, I wanted to make it special and I did, there is nothing to say thanks, it was meant to be special for both of us", I said.

She smiled and went upstairs I too went home.

Today was very good, Rohan made it more special then anything, first I was shocked to see him near my college and later I understood that it was all planned and it made me feel special as no one, all was same as I had imagined and mentioned in my novel.

I knew that Rohan would have made it special, but didn't knew that he would make it this special.

I loved every bit of today. I went home, talked to my mom, as she was waiting for me, she knew beforehand that I was going on a date as Rohan had asked her, and it touched my heart more, that he knows the importance of me asking and seeking permission from my mother, she was also happy seeing me happy and also teased me a lot. She was also telling me stories of her and dad's date nights.

We talked for a while and then went in my room, freshen up and checked my phone, I so wanted to post our pic but controlled as I didn't wanted to make it public. I send all the pic to Sonu and she teased me a lot, later I slept with a happy smile on my face.

Morning I woke up fresh, ran some errands and came home, I was checking mails to find any response from any company, but to my disappointed found none. I was disheartened, but made a positive thought and decided to send my resume to other companies as well, I still have Rohan's companies offer in hand, but will decide upon it later..

As I was about to close my mail, and I received a mail.

And that mailed made me so happy.

The mail read that I was called for an interview in Goenka's group of Industries, tomorrow at 9:00 am. At last it felt all things were trying to work out in my favor. Goenka's group of industries come on the top industries in India with Mehra Industries (Rohan's company). I ran out of the room and told my mother excitedly, she was also very happy, I called Sonu and as well as called Rohan, he was in the meeting so said he will call me later, but it felt good that he picked up my call.

I have to prepare for tomorrow, I rushed in my room and started searching more about the company and prepared for the interview, please god be with me always and help me in every path, I prayed silently.
