Chapter 37

TANYA SHARMA

I am very nervous today is the day, today is the day when Rohan is meeting my aunt.

My mom had to pester my aunt so much, she was not at all ready to accept to meet Rohan in the fame of Love marriage. She was persistent that I have to break up and then only she will look at our faces.

I was so angry that day, I was about to shout and tell my aunt that there is no need to come, and I and mumma are okay with it, but than I remembered Rohan words that not for us but for mumma I have to do it.

Mumma requested her so much than she agreed to come. I know today there will be alot of drama and she will do anything in her hand to break it off. But I and Rohan both are ready to face it.

After getting ready I went in the kitchen to help mumma, I am wearing a patiala suit which Rohan likes.
As I was descending the stairs I heard the bell and went to open the door.

As soon as I opened the door, I was shocked to see my aunt! She came early. Oh god, Rohan is still not here, what will we do.

"Will you keep me standing here", she said.

"No,no sorry, come in", I said.

As soon as she entered she started shouting my mothers name. Mumma came out running and looked at me with nervousness I assured her.

I went behind and tried calling Rohan, but he was not picking up the call, maybe he  would be driving.

"Where is the boy? Haven't you called me to meet him? This is how the boy is, doesn't have respect of tome? See this happens when you love someone they don't respect other people, this is the way the guy will show respect?" My aunt started.

"He is on the way, you have arrived early aunt", I said.

"Look, how she is supporting her lover and degrading her aunt, this is what you have learned," my aunt said.

"No, I was not disrespecting you, is just that we had decided we will meet at 4:00 and it's just 3:45, I said.

My mom was eyeing me to keep quiet and not answer aunt, but I can't stand when someone is deliberately trying to wrong some one.

After 5 mins or so, bell rang and this time I am sure it's Rohan, I opened the door and was right, Rohan was standing there wearing a casual shirt and jeans.

"My aunt has arrived", I said and he just nodded. I know he is also very nervous but he is trying to be strong for me.

He entered and joined mumma and aunt on the sofa, first he touched mumma feet and then aunts, but my aunt didn't acknowledge.

This was damn rude, whatever it was she should have gave the blessing, we give blessing to whoever it is even when we don't know that person personally, but here my aunt.

We all were sitting there quitely for sometime and then mumma decided to break the silence.

"Sister, he is Rohan, Tanya's boyfriend", mumma said.

"So, what should I do, I have said clearly, Love Marriage is not acceptable", aunt said rudely.

"Aunty, I really want you to talk to him and then decided, if you found a valid reason that he is not good I will not defy you", I said.
