CHAPTER 12: SURPRISE

There was a large explosion along with a loud BANG! Smoke engulfed the area as dirt and rocks fell from the air. "Good riddance" Majesta said to herself. "I should be saying that to you" I said from the cloud of smoke. Majestas smile slowly went away as the smoke cleared revealing me unharmed and wiping dust from my chest. "What! That's not possible!" Majesta screamed. I started to chuckle "anything is possible, I mean you did come back from the dead". Majesta then fired off another blast but with a wave of my arm I smacked the beam of light into the air past the clouds.

"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" Majesta screamed again. I started to laugh historically at her. "What's so funny you idiot?" Majesta snapped. I pointed at the relic in her hand "you actually still think that's the real deal you holding?" I said. Majesta looked shocked then looked closely at the relic in her hand. It was just ordinary stone that was sculpted into a triangle, it didn't even look that good either since it was so clumpy. "B-b-but the power I felt" Majesta stuttered. "I enchanted the stone with a small bit of mana, but not enough to do any real harm of course" I explained.

Majesta crushed the relic to pieces with her bare hand, she gritted her teeth. "I don't need a relic to kill you, you're sword isn't with you" Majesta pointed out. Sandra squeezed my arm "please tell me you planned for this" she said. I smiled "don't worry babe", suddenly a small fire ball shot from the sky towards me. I reached my arm at it catching it instantly revealing my sword. My gold armour and cape appeared on my body. "I've planned this all" I told her.

Majesta stepped back "what? How'd you do that?" Majesta asked. "You've been dead for to long Majesta, long enough to forget that when a balancer chooses a host it will always find it's way to that host" I explained. Majesta growled knowing her plan failed. "Kill them!" She ordered. I quickly turned to Sandra "Velro will be waiting for you on the other side" I told her. Sandra rasied an eyebrow "other side of wh-" but she was cut off as I opened a portal behind her and I shoved her in. Velro was on the other side of it, he reached out and grabbed Sandra pulling her in.

"What?" Sandra said still not copping with what was going on. I closed the portal and turned back towards Majesta. Majesta leaped at me but I wacked her with my sword hitting her in the stomach. The force was supposed to slice her in half but it only slightly cut her sending her flying back and hitting a tent. Raven and Peter sprung into action. Peter summoned two knives with the chains attached to the ends of them and threw them both at me. Raven expanded his metal wings and with one flap threw a barrage of metal knife like feathers.

I summoned a shield blocking the attacks. I then teleported behind Raven and brought my sword done on him. But he blocked it with both his wings. "Nice try but it'll take more then that to get the drop on me" he said as he turned and punched me across the face. I staggered back and Raven came in for another hit. But I ducked dodging his fist. I placed the palm of my free hand on his chest. "As above so below" I said. Suddenly the ground opened up under Raven.

A large arm made of rock reached up grabbing him. It then pulled him down into the earth and the hole closed up. That was easy I thought to myself. Suddenly a chain came from behind me and wrapped itself around my body. I was pulled up into the air and brought back down smashing against the ground with crushing force. "This is where you die" Peter yelled. Suddenly the chains started to conduct electricity. "No one has ever survived this" Peter went on. But his breath was taken away as he saw me break the chains around me with ease.

I got up to my feet and jumped at Peter. I sunk my sword into his stomach before he could even react. "You're little electric trick may work on others, but not me" I said as I twisted the blade. Peter fell to his knees. I then took the sword out of him and swung it at his neck. His head would've been sliced clean off if Raven hasn't popped up from the ground between Peter and the blade. Raven blocked the attack with his wing then grabbed my face with his hand. There was a spark of heat and a large explosion as Raven summoned a fire ball onto my face.

I flew back a few feet but stayed upright holding my sword in front of me. Raven stood there in front of Peter was struggling to get back up to his feet. "You put up a good fight" Raven said. Peter then summoned two battle axes in each hand. "But I'm afraid your journey ends here" Peter said. Raven then leaped up flying in the air. He dived towards me like a falling bomb. I pointed my sword up at him but Peter used that moment to attack.

For someone who was badly injured he was still quick on his feet. He rushed at me and swung both his axes striking me with both of them in the stomach. I flinched and grabbed at Peter. But Raven came down and scratched me in the face with his claws. I dropped my sword and fell on my back. I wiped the blood off my cheeks and looked up at Raven who stood over me. "Claws?" I asked, Raven shown me both his hands. He had long metal claws for finger nails, "what's a bird without it's talons?" He said.

I got up to my feet feeling weaker then before. "You took some of my mana" I said as Raven took a step closer. "Yeah, I'm going to take it all!" He yelled as he leaped at me. He sunk his claws into my chest with both his hands. He raised me up in the air smiling. "All this mana, I've never felt anything like it" he laughed. I shook my head at Raven. "You seem to never learn" I said as I grabbed both his arms. "Compared to me, you're an insect" with one swift motion I broke both of Ravens arms.

Raven yelled and took his claws out of me. He fell to his knees looking at his out of place arms. "M-my bones are made of titanium, how'd you-" Raven was cut off as I reached over and grabbed his wings. "You're grounded!" I yelled, I then tore both his wings from his body. "Ack!" Raven yelped as he fell face first to the ground motionless. The ground then opened up from under him again and he fell in before it closed. I dropped both his wings and looked over at Peter who was now on one knee holding his stomach.

I walked up to him and grabbed him by the neck raising him in the air. "No one to save you this time" I told him. "You're wrong" he said smiling, suddenly someones fist connected with my face causing me to drop Peter and fall to the ground. A throbbing pain shot throughout my head when I hit the ground. "Oww" I said as I looked up seeing Majesta standing over me, and she looked pissed. She looked over at Peter was on the ground breathing hard, then turned looking at Ravens wings that were on the ground.

"Useless" she whispered to herself before looking at the crowd of her followers who were all to scared to join the fight. Majesta then looked back at me. "It's a fight you want Toby" she said before floating up into the air. Black smoke started forming around her body. "Then it's a fight you'll get!" She screamed. She pointed her finger at the crowd. "Give me your power!" She yelled at them. The crowd of people started to stir and some people tried to run away. But it was of no use.

The black smoke floating around Majesta swooped over the crowd. The people started to gag and choke as they all fell to the ground dead. The smoke then returned to Majesta and went into her nose. She took a deep breath and smiled.
