Me and Sarah flew up higher up into the clouds. We flew closer and closer to the sun. The around us started to fade and there were less clouds around us. We literally flew up into what looked like space. There were stars all around us and the sky was colored a beautiful dark blue. "His house is just ahead" Sarah said pointing up. I looked ahead to see a large white mansion sitting on a floating rock. We landed at the front door. Sarah knocked and we waited for a second. The door opened on its own and Sarah walked in.
I followed close behind her as the door closed behind us. This mansion was amazing, there was a fire place off to the right of me with a white bear skin rug in front of it, there were also couches laid around. In front of us were two large stair cases that lead up to one hallway. "Nice place" I said, "why thank you, it took me forever to make it" a voice said from the hallway. A young looking man with a cane came out of the hallway, he wore all white and also had white hair.
"This is him Toby, the worlds first guardian" Sarah told me as the man came down the stairs. This guy looked to be in his thirtys, no way he's the first guardian. He approached me and examined my face "I don't recognize you, so you must be new" he said as he presented his hand for me to shake. "The names Zavier" he told me, I shook his hand and smiled "Toby" I said. He turned away and walked towards one of his couches. Me and Sarah followed him and sat in the couch in front of him. "So what brings here?" He asked.
"Well it's a long story" I said, I then told him the story and explained my reasons on going back to earth. Zavier sat there and listened nodding his head from time to time. "And that's why I need to go back to earth" I said finishing my story. There was a long pause then Zavier spoke. "No" he simply said. "What!? What do you mean no didn't you hear my story?" I told him. "Yes I listened to every detail, and from what I hear all you've done was break all the rules and got lot's of people killed" Zavier said.
"No I protected them" I spat "no you attempted to protect them and failed" he countered. "When I first created the ministry I knew certain people weren't supposed to know about us, we'd be the heros from the shadows, protecting those who can't protect themselves from the evil of the world, but you disobeyed that rule of secrecy and now thousands of the people of the ministry are either dead, zombies, or awaiting their death by the hands of this Majesta lady" he calmly said. I sag there quietly not knowing what to say.
He was right, I failed everyone and now their all going to die because I couldn't guard them. Zavier got up to his feet "you may leave now, I'm going to take a nap" he said as he turned his back. Sarah patted my back "Dang, if it was me Ms.Pillar would've gave me a punishment along with a stern speech, you got off lucky Toby" she said. Zavier stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around. "What did you say?" He asked. Sarah looked confused "what? About Ms.Pillar?" She asked. Zavier rushed back "Pillar? As in the famous water tribe family who mastered the elemental form of magic?" Zavier asked with excitement.
"Yes" I answered, "her family was famous for their water magic" I told him. Zavier smiled "yes I would know, I'm the one who taught the first Pillar how to use water magic, she was my wife, her name was Emily Pillar" Zavier said. "Wait? Is your name Zavier Pillar?" I asked. He nodded "your teacher is related to me" he said. I smiled "your great grand daughter believed in me when no one else did, she thought I was going to make a great guardian one day" I told him.
"Did she?"
"Yes, and if you love your wife and child as much as I do then you know that I have to go back, they're in danger" I pleaded. Zavier paused for a moment. " well if my great granddaughter had good judgment towards you, then you may be worth my time" he said. "So you'll help me" I asked. Zavier nodded " yes I'll help you, there's only one way to get back to earth" he told me. "Okay what is it?" I asked. "Well" he started "in order to leave this place and return to your body on earth you must have a certain level of power"."Don't guardians have unlimited power?" I asked. "Not necessarily, us guardians have unlimited mana, but the relic has unlimited power" he explained. "Oh makes sense" I said nodding my head. "Anyways" Zavier continued "you need a certain level of power to leave this place, but not even I have that much power, and this can only work on the latest guardian to enter the afterlife" he explained. "Okay so that'll be me, but how do I get this power?" I asked. "There's one way, I would have to suck the power out of every guardian in the afterlife and put it inside of you" he explained.
I dropped my jaw "every guardian?" I asked. "Yes every guardian, that's enough power to punch a hole through time and space, and I'm going to put it all inside of you" Zavier said. I gulped, and Zavier chuckled. "This may kill you, and I don't know what afterlife you'd go to, but if it's worth it-" "it's worth it" I said cutting him off. Zavier shrugged "okay your choice not mines" he said. He then raised his cane up and slammed it into the ground.
Suddenly a ball of white light flew from Sarahs chest and floated over the staff. "Whoa, that felt weird" she said, then more and more small balls of light started to come into the mansion, they phased through the walls and floated over the cane. Wind started to swirl around the room as all the balls came together forming one small yellow ball of light. The wind roared blowing everything over and snuffing out the fire in the fireplace. "Grab this ball and allow the power to enter you!" Zavier yelled over the roaring wind.
I walked up fearlessly to the ball of light. I guess the fact fear didn't exist here I wasn't scared of possibly being blown up out of existence. "Tell that low life Majetsa I said hello!" Sarah yelled. "No problem" I assured her, I then grabbed the ball of light and the power flowed into me. It burned a lot, it was like touching a hot stove. The ball blew up blinding me for a second. I closed my eyes blocking the brightness away. There was a loud BANG! And I opened my eyes to see I was floating over the rubble of the building Majesta threw me in.
The balancer was back in my hand but things were very different. My hair was still white along with my eyes and armour which was now slim fit. The balancer was now a skinny white shiny sword. My white cape flapped in the wind behind me. Majesta was standing back in the castle looking back at me in anger. "You're kidding me" she said with anger in her tone. Velro, Christa, and Derek were all on the ground beat up and not moving. They must've tried to attack Majesta but failed.
I could sense they were still alive, well, everyone except Derek since he had no heart to sense at all. I raised my sword up ready to fight. I felt the power of every guardian in me, there was no way I was going to lose this time. "Time to die again little boy!" Majesta yelled as she rushed at me.
