Homeward Bound

Were finally going home.. hallelujah. The doctors insist I be wheeled to the truck in a wheelchair, even though I can walk perfectly fine. Daddy picked up the boys, and then came to pick up Mama and I. Now were on the way HOME. I'm so happy. We pull up into the driveway and I yell,"HOME!!"

Then the boys do too. "That's right baby girl, were home," Daddy says. We hop out of the truck, and then we go upstairs to the playroom. "Play with me?" "Sure," I say happy as can be. We start playing tag, and we run all around the house. "I'm coming for you Taterbug!" "AHH! Daddy help!" "Daddy can't help you!!" "Yes I can," Daddy says running behind me. He starts tickling me like crazy. "Quit daddy! Ahh, Daddyyyyy!" "Run Taterbug! I got Cheyenne!"

We spend the whole day doing that, and just spending time together as a family until the boys go to bed.

I put on my PJs, crawl into bed, and check my iPhone for the first time in forever. I see a tweet that mentioned me from @LukeBryanOnline, daddy! I open it up. He tweeted:

"My baby girl caught her first fish! 😎😍😊 #DaddysGirl"

I tweet him back:

"I learn from the best. @LukeBryanOnline 😘"

Then I reply to some sweet fans. They're all so sweet. I love #TeamLuke. I've been apart of it since day 1. My favorite fan accounts are definitely,

It's amazing how many people are devoted to Luke. I'm honored he chose me to be his daughter. I hear a buzz, and look down at my phone.

All of #TeamLuke is now on Twitter blowing our mentions up with their "awws" and "Luke is the best daddy" tweets. I lay my phone down, turn on the TV, and lay down. Daddy walks in. "Mama decided to head on to bed. Being at the hospital, patient or visitor, wears a person out. But I'm here," he says. I hold up the covers so he can crawl in beside me. I turn on the outdoors channel, and we watch it for hours. After awhile I look over at Daddy, he's almost asleep. Aww, I don't want to wake him up. I turn off the TV, lay beside Daddy, and fall asleep. I love my new family so much.
