CHEYENNE'S POV
It's been one week since I left the hospital. Today Daddy's taking me to get the stitches out, and the bandage off of my head where they removed the tumor that could've killed me. After that, were heading to family day at Mama LeClaire's. I can't wait to meet her. <3
Daddy and I pull into the hospital parking lot. "Ready? Ready? Ready ready?" he says goofing around. The way he says ready >> 😍
I have to say I love my Daddy's accent. Down here in the south, we all have an accent. Some call us hillbillies, rednecks, hicks, and whatever else. I'm proud of it too. I like who I am, and I'm proud of where I'm from. ☺
We walk into the hospital, where were escorted to a room where the nurse comes in. "Ok Cheyenne, it's time to remove the bandage and the stitches," she says. She takes off the bandage, and then she starts taking out the stitches. OMG. This is so painful. It's like ripping staples out of paper, but out of my head. I'm trying not to cry, but my Lord this is painful. I grit my teeth together to prevent the tears from leaking out of my eyes.
LUKE'S POV
My baby is a trooper. I see her fighting back the tears. Gah, this must be hard for her. Thank God after this, we won't be back in this place for a while...hopefully.
CHEYENNE'S POV
"Last one Cheyenne," the nurse says pulling the stitch through my head. WOO. It's over! Thank God.
"You're all good to go," she says opening the door for us.
"Lets go baby girl," Daddy says.
We get in the truck, and start driving. It's time for family day!
