I know the title's kinda weird for this chapter, but I wasn't sure of what to call it so. 🙈

LUKE'S POV

I heard what sounded like a girl's scream, and BoBo shout "DADDY!" The first thing I thought of was Cheyenne hurt, and the boys frightened. The thought made me sick to my stomach. I started running, Caroline followed. "BOBO. CHEYENNE. TATERBUG." No response. I kept running, and Caroline started shouting their names. We passed a couple of trees. I heard what sounded like whimpering, and then a holler, it sounded like Cheyenne. I turned back real quick. OH MY GOD. There was our kids. BoBo and Taterbug sat on the ground. Cheyenne's beautiful blonde hair lays on a big rock. She has her hands over her eyes. She's lying there crying, screaming, and bleeding. She's got some cuts and scrapes. I see her head bleeding too...heavily. "Caroline, call 911." The boys sit there stunned. BoBo is crying. Poor Taterbug doesn't understand anything that's going on around him. Caroline whips out her iPhone, and starts talking to the 911 operator. I go over to Cheyenne. "Hey baby girl, it's ok. It's ok now, Daddy's here," I say with tears building up in my eyes. Her cries seem to get louder. I pick her up, and immediately put her back down. Blood is coming out of her head, fast. I hold her hand, and try to comfort her the best I can. "What's wrong baby? It's gonna be ok baby girl." I see her try to open her mouth to speak. In the distance, I hear sirens. "The EMT's are on the way," Caroline says while rushing over to Cheyenne. I don't think I've ever seen either of them cry this much. "Head. It..hurts..so bad. DADDY. Help!" Cheyenne cries. "Shh, it's ok. Daddy's here. The ambulance is on the way," I tell her. I see her begin to close her eyes. GOD, NOOO. THIS CANNOT BE THE END. NO. "Hold on baby, stay with me ok?" Her eyes flicker open and shut again. "Cheyenne? It's ok." The sirens are here now. Her eyes shut once more. The EMT's come rushing on the site. Caroline and I move, and I take the boys to the truck. I see them put her on the stretcher, and do CPR. "I'll follow you to the hospital. Stay with her," I say. Caroline nods her head.

CAROLINE'S POV

I don't understand. 15 minutes ago, we were all so happy and healthy. Now I'm riding in an ambulance, tears streaming down my face. Cheyenne is lying on a stretcher. We're on the way to the hospital.

We get there in 5 minutes, and she's rushed to the ER. I'm escorted to a stupid waiting room. Why is this happening?! We've all finally gotten settled in, and now this happens. I hope my baby girl is ok. I wanna be right there at her side. I wanna tell her it's going to be alright, and that's she going home in the next hour. I don't know how I'm going to explain this to the boys either. Taterbug doesn't understand that much yet, but BoBo will. This makes me cry even more. I decide there's one thing I can do. I get down on my hands and knees and pray to God she's alright.

LUKE'S POV

I speed all the way to the hospital. I get the kids out of the car, and rush in to find Caroline on her hands and knees in the waiting room praying. "Baby?" "She was rushed into the ER. I couldn't go back there," she told me. I dropped to my knees, and said a quick prayer. Then I called Jordan to come pick up the kids to watch them for a little bit. She came as fast as lighting. I thanked her, and she took them. I don't want them around here being all depressed about their sister. Everything's gonna be alright. It has to be.

It's an hour and a half before the doctor comes out to find us. "Mr. and Mrs. Luke Bryan?" We shot up. He shakes our hands. "Your daughter is stable..for now." I praise The Lord then and there. Thank God she's alright. "I have some bad news though. It seems she fell, and when she did...she ruptured...the small tumor in her brain. That's why she lost so much blood." "She was near a big rock," I say about to lose my cool. Caroline has her mouth covered sobbing loudly now. "She probably hit her head, ruptured it, causing major blood loss. It's fixable though, don't worry. The tumor is small enough we can do surgery. We caught it early. I know it's horrible, but you should be grateful we found this out." "Yeah, can I see her?!?!" "Ah, that's what I need to tell you both. Due to the overwhelming amount of blood loss, your daughter...has went into cardiac arrest. She's in a coma. I'm sorry." He walks off. Caroline starts yelling, "NO, no, no!" She hugs me tightly. We sink to the floor. I hold her. I look up at the ceiling. What do I do now God? What do I do now??
