Chapter 6

As soon the realization struck them, they can't do anything at this point as it's too late, and they can't move backward as they will be easy prey to their enemies. They were surrounded by trees all around. They could not find a clear path to drive the car, and even though they dare to drive in this situation, there is a possibility of an accident that they can't risk.  Everyone slowly unbuckled themselves from the seats and moved out of the car. Darkness was surrounded everywhere, and weird noises were coming from every direction, which was frightening.

I grasped sid's hand tightly as I was afraid of darkness. Rudra was holding Mallika. Who else can know you better than your siblings?  I wasn't afraid of darkness exactly, but I was afraid of being alone. I was afraid that they wouldn't find me when I got separated from them in this forest. We slowly started moving inside the forest, and no one was talking; it was complete silence, and it was scary.  Fear was evident in our faces. Bhai whispers soothing words to calm me down.

Sid - Listen, we have to pass this night at any risk. We can't let them find us as it's risky, and we won't be able to fight against them. Another bad news is we don't have signals on our phones. We don't know how many are there on this side. If it were Rudra and me, we would have handled it, but we need to keep you both girls safe.

We all silently Nod our heads in agreement. I know my brother is a fighter, and even Rudra doesn't mean they will tackle the whole gang. l. Be realistic, and this isn't any movie. It's real-life, in my opinion, well. Signals not found aren't anything new in India. We don't receive networks in the village then, which idiot will expect to receive in forests.

As we were walking, crumplings of dry leaves and the breaking of twigs were heard. Soon this voice was getting louder with each passing second; I was getting afraid. My grip on sids hand increased as I was freaking inside. I don't know what to do... He looked at him and assured me he wouldn't let anything happen to me. We all stooped as flashlights were glowing on our faces. Realization struck several men who surrounded us. They came closer to us. Sid hid me behind him, and Rudra did the same with Mallika. We both hold on to each other while Rudra and sid trying to protect us. Rudra and sid were getting ready for a fight, but the men raised their guns at us. Rudra and Sid give up.

A man from their team ordered us to follow him, and reluctantly we followed him, holding Rudra and me, holding Mallika protectively.

We all were standing in a clear path away from the forest. These men were still holding guns, pointing at us to make us still at one point.

Sid - What do you want?

As I assumed, the leader comes near us and points his fingers at me. I was shocked will be an understatement... What on earth?  He wants from me. Sid brings me closer to him protectively. I was standing dumbfounded.

Leader - she .. Anika Kapoor

Then slowly, the leader points the finger at sid. I was shocked. Now let me ask you. Just being the Kapoor children, we should be threatened, kidnapped, tortured, and murdered, and whoever is the boss. I m going to chop their head personally... Oh, my little brain, stop talking and try to tackle this situation.

Leader - You... Mr. Sid Kapoor

The leader points at Rudra and Mallika and instructs his men to take them away... They were shaking in fear. I was not able to find my voice... Oh god, please save us.
