Chapter 12

Anika was sleeping due to the medicinal effect. Shivaay was addressing his new staff while sid was busy with official meetings.

After few hours... 

Sid meets Rudra and Mallika

Rudra - You shouldn't have appointed Shivaay as Anika's bodyguard

Mallika - I agree with Rudra. You are her brother, and you should know it better that person is not good for her.

Rudra and Mallika were bickering against Shivaay. Sid was getting pissed off.

Sid - Enough, guys!! I know What's good for my sister, and I know Shivaay more than u all. Anika never complained about his appointment, so why do u guys have any problem with it anyway. I informed you guys beforehand that if you meet Shivaay, I don't want both of you to create any unwanted scene, and I won't tolerate it. So don't try to create a rift between Shivaay and Anika also.

Mallika - But she is our friend. Wasn't she hurt because of him and She cried day and night for him, she waited for him, but he never came for her or tried to contact her?

Sid - Mallika, I already informed you that  I know Shivaay more you both know him, and there's a reason behind it that I won't reveal. Rudra, don't try to hurt Anika with your usual pranks. Shivaay won't tolerate it as he is compassionate about her.

Sid's mansion...

Anika's bedroom

Anika was arranging her closet

Sid - Anika, how are you? 

Anika - I am fyn bhaiya.

Sid - Anika actually

Anika - Yes, Bhaiya What's the matter

Sid - U have to transfer all your accessories and personal belongings here

Anika - Bhaiya already, my belongings are here.

Anika was confused...

Sid takes a deep breath... 

Sid - Anika, I don't want to beat around the bush. So your dad called me today and asked me to transfer all your personal belongings from your dad's house here. You will be staying with me forever now, and you won't return to that house.

Anika nods her head, agreeing with him.

Sid - Aren't you sad.

Anika - Bhaiya I knew one day it would happen, and I was prepared for it.

Sid caresses her face.

Sid - I will be with you till my last breath, and whoever wants to leave us, just let them leave. I will be there for you, and you are my only family.

Anika hugs him

Anika - I will be there for you, bhaiya. I love you, bhaiya. You are my family too. Bhaiya, can I ask you something?

Anika breaks the hugs ... Sid nods

Anika - Is dad upset with me? 

Sid - No, baby. He won't ever leave his princess. He wants you to stay happy. He knows how you stayed there and how they treated you. He felt sorry he couldn't do anything for you at that time, and he doesn't want you to go through the same thing again, so he wants you to stay with me.

Shivaay Pov starts... 

I heard them talking. Hopefully, she forgives her father when she will face the truth. Oh shit, I forgot why I came here. I sometimes behave like a possessive boyfriend, which I am not yet; the boyfriend title is not there.

I knock on the door. 

Sid - Yes

Shivaay - sir, you called me.

Anika was smiling... Uff her smile... Shivaay control... Act like a bodyguard for a second man

Sid - Shivaay, will you be joining college?

Shivika - What?

Is sid gone crazy? Why in the whole world would I like to endure the torture of college life again?  Am I a bodyguard or a college student now? No way I m attending college for studying, and I can't study anymore.

Anika - Bhaiya, are you crazy? 

Shivaay - No... I won't

Sid - Guys, Relax !!! Shivaay, you don't have to study actually; it's a makeover for you to mix up well in college without drawing any unwanted attention. You can't guard Anika if you don't attend college, so instead of your bodyguard attire.  You will be attending college as a student.

Shivaay - Why not as a bodyguard?  I'll have much more authority to act according to my will.

Sid - It will attract attention, as I said. I don't want you guys to get into more trouble.

Wow... Who the hell will endure those painful lectures?  Oh god, no...  But I can't say no... I am ready to face anything for my Anika...

Shivaay - OK

Sid - College starts within two days.  You have been already enrolled in college.

Sid leaves...

I see Anika standing there with a wicked smile. Wait for a second; Anika is standing... What about her ankle sprain? So someone has become naughty, and she intentionally acted in front of me. I feel guilty about leaving her back; the time I won't leave, this time her because she belongs to me, and she is mine.
