Chapter 41

Annika her world of happiness turned into misery within few days... She showed everyone she was having food but in reality she flushed the food in toilet... She wanted to show without them she can be happy but in truth she was craving for them... She wanted to hug her brother, and wish him birthday wishes so that the whole world will knew it's her dearest brothers birthday but she is sitting on her bed crying... She never knew her brother whom she trusted with her life will lie to her so he was acting being drunken after break up from Mallika... Why? He knew all way along her relationship with Arnav then why they acted in front of them why? He was the one who was encouraging Arnav to kiss and hug Mallika , he was the one who was teasing them then why he acted in front of Arnav as he don't know him and shouted at Mallika for cheating him... Why? Her Bestfriend from childhood ,even she never bothered to tell Annika about her relationship with Arnav, they potrayed in such a way as Mallika is cheating behind her brothers back... Now the love of her life for whom she waited for years after he rejected her ,the day she saw him it was such a blissful moment for her, the day he saved her, his rejection for her vanished in that moment she just wanted him as hers but wht did he do, he lied to her about his relationship with Arnav... Why Shivaay? He was aware about Arnav and Mallikas relationship with siddharth... Why did he never told her ? Why did he give her hope for a future with him? If he liked Shivangi why did he proposed her?

Her head was roaming with many questions which she was unable to answer... She needed answers but her mind don't want to listen any fabricated stories from her brother and Shivaay... How would she trust them again ?

She heard a knock

Annika - Wht is it?

Staff - Ma'am Tej sir asked you to join him in siddharth sir's office

Anika smiles hearing her father's name
Annika - Papa 😊

Annika look herself at mirror... Her eyes was swollen with her face like someone punched her face... She quickly takes some makeup and hides her dull gloomy face behind it... Anika's body was weak due to lack of food... She was not able to stand properly... She slowly opens the door and and moves towards sid's office... She knocks her brothers office for first time in her life

Sid - Come in

Sid was engrossed in his work... He looks up to see who was standing... He was shocked was understatement... He remembers she never knocked at his door then why Now... He was broken... He saw her face, he was quite surprised to see her face with makeup, he realised she is hiding her sad face behind those makeup... He was shattered , he wanted to hug her and console her everything is going to be alright but unfortunately he can't... He knows if he tries, she will reject him and he can't bear it... He can't tolerate his sisters rejection for him...

Sid - Annika are u alright

Annika - Are you blind can't you see I m standing in front of you alive

(She snapped at him)

Sid gets teary eyed... He was hurted but he remains silent... Annika sees it she was feeling guilty ,she was hurted but realising her brother was always lying to her, she pushed back her feelings. Her mind won against her heart...

Annika - Where is dad?

Sid - I don't know Annika how will dad tell u about it... But whtever it is pls composes yourself for it

Annika - Wht's the matter

Sid - I can't tell you

Annika - Oh yes u don't know how to say truth in front of me isn't it

Sid - Annika (whisper)

Annika goes near him

Annika - Com'Mon tell me... U must have forgotten how to speak truth isn't it

Sid - Pls understand

Annika - If u aren't telling me... I m leaving

Anika turns to move... While sid hugs her and say

Anika pushes him away

Annika falls on floor and cries loudly ...Sid hugs her... Annika struggles

Anika was shocked to know about it... She was hurted... She cried and cried whenever she was alone... Her body was full of bruises because Jhanvi used to beat her...

It was a habit of Jhanvi she kept on insulting, beating n slapping Annika... Tej was unaware about it when he come to know about it he shifted Annika to sid's house and kept Shivaay as her bodyguard
