I went to the backyard and closed the jacuzzi lid. I wasn't in the mood for wine and hot tubs. As I walked back inside, I smelled something. It wasn't too strong, but it felt like it was following me. I ignored it and just went upstairs and stared at my phone screen, debating over whether to pop the news or to wait a day...
I guess I could spare her and send the final tweet out Wednesday night. At least school would be over and she can decide not to go to Prom.
