Percy POV

I woke up in a room with bright lights and had to blink to adjust my eyes.

I freaked out for a minute because I have no Idea where I was. Then all my memories went back to me and I relaxed.

I saw Bruce writing once again on his clipboard. And started thinking, where will I go? What will happen to me? I don't have any other family members or relatives.

I started hyperventilating.

That's when Bruce noticed me and asked me to slow down my breathing.

I felt scared, unsafe and sad, scared because I don't know what they will do to me. Unsafe because they might beat me like my step father Smelly Gabe. And sad because I don't have anymore family members that I know of that are alive.

I finally slowed my breathing and relaxed when I felt myself get pulled into a hug, so I hugged back.

Bruce POV

When I was writing the report of how he was I felt so sad when I saw the state of the kid he was scared and in shock. It made me feel mad that the kid experience the death of his mother in front of him.

Then he started to hyperventilate, his eyes widened and he started breathing fast. I went to calm his breathing but he was still in to much focus on what he was thinking.

So I did the only thing that came in to my mind. I hugged him tight.

I know I only just met him but I always wanted a son. Even when I am still in my mid twenties I knew that I will never find my partner.

I felt sad about this but then he hugged me. He hugged me it lifted my mood high to know that he hugged me. I felt happiness that he trusted me after what his stepfather did.

Sorry very short crappie but I am in a hurry I have continuous quizzes so thanks for sticking with me.
