You walked behind the tall man with your baby still cradled in your arms. You journeyed the whole night and at the moment it was dawn. You looked at red streaks of the sun peeking from behind the castle. You took hesitant steps towards the large castle entrance. You knew that once you went in, getting out would be a difficult task. You lowered your head, your hair covering your face and let a tear roll down your right cheek. The tear drop then rolled down your chin onto the baby's cheek.
Sniffing, you quickly wiped your cheek and the baby's before somebody saw. Doflamingo could hear the sniffing from behind him and chose to ignore them. You walked past the large wooden doors and couldn't help but shiver in fear when they closed behind you, sealing your fate. You walked in silence, the only sound that could be heard being the shoes hitting the ground as you both walked down the quiet corridor.
You still walked with your head down, avoiding eye contact with any and all curiously watching eyes. You took a look to your right and saw a guard walking behind you from the corner of your eye. Escape was impossible now.
You got to the end of the corridor that cut into a fork leading to the left and to the right.
"Take them to my room and keep watch until I come back," Doflamingo said, not looking back at you and taking the right path. The guard grabbed your free arm that wasn't holding the baby and pulled you down the left corridor. You walked for a few minutes until you reached a large door. The guard opened the door and almost roughly pushed you in and closed it behind you, locking it from the outside.
After watching the door close, not knowing what to do to keep it from being locked, you turned to look around the room, seeing that you and your baby's belongings were placed on the table at the corner. You walked to the large sized four post bed. Your baby had fallen asleep again and you gently placed him on the bed so as to not wake him up. You gently sat down beside him to stare at his sleeping form. This time you didn't hold back and let your tears flow down your face. You put your head in your hands and sobbed, letting the feelings you were holding back take control.
A few minutes later you wiped your tears away with the sleeve of your shirt and walked to the window. It was closed shut and you didn't have the strength to open it. You thought about taking a chair and breaking the window, but the sound of shattering glass would draw the attention of the guards. As you were thinking about it, two guards walked by the window.
You backed away so that they didn't see you and went back to the bed, where you once again sat down. This time you decided to lay down next to your baby. You placed your hand on his cheek and listened to his breathing. It was soft and soon you felt your eyes become heavy while being hypnotized by the rhythm of his breathing. You closed them, letting sleep overtake you.
Donquixote Doflamingo walked into his room a few hours later and closed the door, but not before telling the guard he could leave. He saw two figures on his bed. The large one was asleep and the smaller one lay staring at the ceiling, cooing as he sucked on his mother's index finger. He walked towards the bed and stood on the side of it. When the child saw him he lifted his arms towards him, asking to be lifted.
Doflamingo took his hands out of his pockets and put them under the arms of the baby, lifting him up close to his face. But the baby began to have some regrets. He didn't like being that high up and began to whimper, begging to be placed back down on the bed.
Doflamingo frowned and sat on the bed, his smile coming back when the baby calmed down. Doflamingo found it weird. It was like staring at his mini twin, who looked at him with excitement in his eyes. The baby reached out to Doflamingo's face, trying to grab his glasses but stopped when you shifted on the bed.
You lifted your head to look around the room for the baby when you didn't feel him beside you. When you saw him in Joker's arms you felt relief and at the same time fear. Relief that your child wasn't missing and fear of Doflamingo.
"Finally awake. I was just spending some time with my son." You shivered at hearing his voice and slowly sat up on the bed.
"J-Joker, please don't hurt him."
"Fufufu...why are you so keen on thinking that I would hurt my own son?"
'Because you killed your father and brother.' That's what you wanted to say but you didn't. You knew that if you did he would have killed you right on the spot, right in front of your baby. But you didn't want to die. No, you wanted to live for your baby. You didn't want your baby to grow up motherless with that bastard. You were pulled out of your thoughts by the baby giggling as Doflamingo began to tickle him. He stopped giggling however when his tiny stomach growled making him whimper again. You sighed and walked to the baby's bag where you went through it looking for the baby bottle. When you found it you walked back to the bed and gently took the baby from Doflamingo's arms. You sat down and sat the baby on your lap and put the bottle near his mouth.
He wrapped his tiny hands around the bottle and began sucking. His hands still couldn't grasp the bottle properly so you wrapped your hand around his and supported the bottle as he sucked the milk from it.
When he was done feeding, you placed him on your shoulder and lightly patted his back. You were satisfied when he let out a little burp and placed him back on your lap. While you were still busy with the baby, Doflamingo stood up and walked out the room. He closed the door and you heard a 'click' sound meaning he locked it again.
You sighed and lay back down on the bed and placed the baby beside you. You watched the baby play by himself and you began thinking of ways in which you could escape. And you promised yourself that whenever you had the chance, you would get out of that place.
