No excuse would be justifiable for unexpectedly returning to Dressrosa and taking Hisoka and Ren back with you. If what Law said about the Strawhats arrival was true then it would only be a matter of time until Doflamingo catches on to his plan.

Law's plan would have to be executed immediately before Doflamingo could counter the attack, so you had a few hours at best. You had to make sure that your children had left the castle before it all began. Even if you secretly snuck them out or made an excuse about how you wanted to wander the streets alone with your children.

The four of you have never been alone outside of the castle for the reason that Doflamingo didn't fully trust you. You still hadn't convinced him to have full confidence in you. Indeed you could escape with them while Doflamingo was occupied with his enemies but knowing the Shichibukai he would want to keep you close to him.

While you kept on walking one of Caesar's men appeared behind you and took ahold of your arm.

"There's a ship ready to depart in a few minutes. Let's go," he said, pulling you down the path with him. This wasn't about the request you made to the scientist. Caesar wanted you off the island in case the marine soldiers came to the island to cause trouble, which was very likely considering the utilisation of Vegapunk's lab wasn't authorised.

You had no complaints about leaving, however, you felt yourself start to worry as soon as you showed up to the front entrance and found Law standing by the large doors.

"What more do you have to say?" You asked as you walked closer to him. He shrugged his shoulders before pointing to the metal doors with his thumb.

"This isn't about that, (y/n)-ya. I suggest you wait a bit before heading out. There's trouble behind these doors," he adviced, but you scoffed at his words. You wouldn't let a few marine soldiers ruin your life. Your trip back to Dressrosa couldn't be delayed any longer.

"Open the doors," you called out to the worker who was situated by the controls. He was hesitant for a second but when Law nodded in his direction he agreed and pulled a lever.

"It's not like they'll just willingly leave anyway. We might as well just deal with them now," Law muttered as the doors parted to reveal the snowy plain behind them. At first it was nothing but a plain background until you spotted some figures a few feet away. Among those figures was a person you instantly recognised, gasped in shock and quickly averted your eyes to avoid meeting his.

Law witnessed the entire exchange, and quickly sensed a change of pace to the situation. What it was about a Vice Admiral that made you grit your teeth in frustration was unknown to him. What surprised him was that the Vice Admiral almost let one of his two lit cigarettes slip past his lips to fall to the snow, quickly being extinguished.

"What an... unexpected visit, White Hunter-ya. What brings you here?" Law asked after a brief silence had fallen over everyone.

"Smoker, is that...?" You heard a female voice call out from beside the Vice Admiral. It was a female subordinate of Smoker, Tashigi, who you met only a couple of times during your time as a marine.

Smoker reached over to the many cigarettes strapped on his chest and pulled out one of them.

"Access to this island is strictly forbidden even to Shichibukai... that includes the likes of you, (y/n)," he stated after releasing a puff of smoke. The many gasps from the marine soldiers who accompanied the Vice Admiral was enough proof for you to believe that your presence wasn't well favoured.

"She's a criminal and she's acting in partnership with a Shichibukai! This is treason!" Were the wave of words sent your way by the angry soldiers. No one but the Fleet Admiral and a few Vice Admirals knew that you were forgiven in exchange for working for them.
