1 week later

Tini's dad was out of the hospital. He went home and had some days to rest. He decided to proceed with the chemotherapies of course, he didn't want to abandon his only child without a fight.

"Are you sure you don't need anything dad?" Tini asked her father once more.

"Yes sweetie, I'm alright. You can go to school now."He gave her a smile.

"Okay then, I will see you later."She gave him a peck on the cheek, gave him a smile and walked outside the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She walked inside of the school and made her way to the locker to grab what she needed for her first period.
Math. I hate Math.
She grabbed her book and went to find at least one of her friends. She couldn't wait for this day to end already.
Her eyes focused on her blonde hair friend, Mechi. Who was sitting on a bench while scrolling on her phone.
Tini walked up to her.
"Mind if I sit with you?"
"Yes, I do mind. Sorry."
"So what's up?"Tini sat down next to her.
"Nothing much."She sighed."What about you?"
"Meh."
"Math first period, huh?" Mechi said pointing at her Math book with her eyes.
"Don't even get me started."Tini said annoyed.
"I have art class."
"Lucky. You basically do nothing with 'Mrs. I don't care'." She frowned.
"I know." Mechi put a grin on her face.
Tini mocked her phrase.
"How is it going with Jorge?"
"Good, we are good."She smiled a little.
"Just good? Did anything happen?"
"No, no, I'm just not in the mood to talk. I want to sleep."She yawned.
"When did you sleep last night?"
"Around 3am."She frowns.
Mechi sighs."You shouldn't be up so late."
"I know but I wasn't sleepy until then."
"Still Tini, texting Jorge instead of sleep is not healthy."
"Hey, I wasn't okay? Believe it or not."Tini laughs.
"Sure."
"Where are all the others?"
"They are not here yet."
"But we start class in like, five minutes."
"Yeah but Cande's car broke down."
"Oh. I hope they don't miss first period."
"Trust me, they don't give a fuck about first period."She chuckled.
Tini laughed lightly at the way she said it.
"Well, I'm gonna go and I'll see you later. Math class is third floor."
"Good luck with all the stairs."
"Thank you, I'll need it."
And with that she entered the school hallways and made her way to the big, long, dreadful stairs.
