Melina's P.O.V.
"Ciao!" I exclaimed as I entered the house
"Ciao Bella!" Giulia, my stepmother, responded as she came running into the room and grabbed my face to kiss it
"Oh, what a good looking man you are" she exclaimed in her strong Italian accent once she turned to Harry
"Thank you" Harry said before he returned Giulia's kisses
"Come, come! I have dinner ready" Giulia excitedly motioned for us to go to the table. We all quickly took a seat and waited for Giulia to bring the food. Not too long after the table was filled with different dishes
"So, how old are you again, Harry?" My dad questioned
"I'm 20" Harry answered and my brother dropped his fork, shooting Harry a death glare which he then diverted to me. I responded with a warning glare and turned to my father again
"He'll turn 21 on February 1st" I told my father
"Oh, so you have a lot of celebration" Giulia concluded
"We actually do" I smiled
"He can forget about any celebration" Giorgio muttered in Italian, violently cutting his sausage as he gave me and Harry a strict look. Harry studied the way Giorgio cut his food before he looked at me with a frown on his face
"It's not up to you to decide that" I hissed back, then continued to eat my well-cooked meal. Giorgio shortly stopped cutting his sausage to give Harry a harsh look
"You're going to regret it. Eventually" Giorgio said to me, causing Harry to give me a questioning look as he was oblivious to what we were saying. I smiled reassuringly, because I didn't want to make him anymore nervous, and placed the last piece of meat in my mouth
"What desert did you make us?" I asked Giulia, trying to take the tension away
"Oh, uhm..." she said awkwardly, before smiling broadly "You know me so well. I made you some pana cotta"
"Red fruits?" I questioned
"Always the red fruits" Giulia smiled as she got up to get the deserts
"Do you need any help?" I asked, although I really didn't want to leave Harry alone here
"No, not at all" Giulia responded and I mentally thanked her
"So, what are we doing for New Year's?" I asked my dad cheerfully
"Well, Giulia and I are going to Giulia's aunt" my father answered
"Oh..."
"I thought you would say that" my father laughed "Just like your brother; you two are about the same. Which is why I arranged for you to stay here and do whatever you want. As long as I return and my house is still in one piece of course"
"That's great! Then we can make our own schedule" I smiled at Harry before turning to my dad "Grazie, papa"
"We thought you three would have a better time here" Giulia said as she placed the plates with pana cotta on the table "As did my aunt think she would have a better time without you two around"
"As long as she knows the feeling is mutual" Giorgio spoke for the first time in English today
"What's wrong with your aunt?" Harry asked
"You mean what isn't wrong" I corrected
"Okay, what isn't wrong with her?" Harry smiled expectantly
