Loki's Point of view:

Perfect. Ayesha was playing the perfect distraction, no one suspected a thing. I had to get Ayesha out of the way anyway, what I was about to do held great risks.

I took the form of a guard, snaking my way effortlessly and unnoticed through the castle corridors, there were two places I needed to go, one was more dangerous than the other. Brilliant.

I crept quietly through a large stone open arch doorway, even the guard as I was disguised was not usually seen wandering in this area alone, however, it had less heavier consequences than if I was found there in my own form. This was Odin's secret library, ancient artefacts, scrolls and books of old telling of the times before his rule were all contained here. I had visited this library on countless events, and never once had I been found.

I was looking for one thing in particular , The Scroll of Infinity, in which held information about the Infinity Gems. There were six of them, and so far I knew the exact whereabouts of two - I had no disadvantage.

The scroll paper was forged from the flame of crimson fire and wrapped round the purest diamond, and it was at my disposal, no one could stop me taking it, they didn't even know I was there!

I had now arrived at the next point in the castle I had a purpose for. The Vault. It was not heavily guarded, there was not one Asgardian watching it's doors... Watching for me. Perhaps Odin thought I wouldn't dare attempt to step one foot inside it, he was wrong. I had nothing to lose, what will he do if he caught me? Throw me in my cell? I laughed at the very idea, for I knew several tactics that would free me out of those four walls.

The Vault was locked. Damn, well I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Nevertheless I will find a way in there. I pressed my palms on the door panel, concentrating, there was one way to enter through a locked door, a method that did not require a key. A green glow that contained a hint of yellow light showered over me, vanishing me out of sight and landing me perfectly inside. I rid myself of the ghastly guard disguise, returning back to my true form. The Vault was filled with a vast collection of treasures, displayed arrogantly. You would think Odin would mask a force field around such valuable items seeing how redundant and hardly impenetrable the barrier to them was.

Something caught my eye, The Casket from Jotunheim, I couldn't stand to look at it, the memories it sparked brought about anger and resentment, I didn't have time to rekindle a burnt out flame. There was however, a positive side, if I hadn't accompanied Thor to Jotunhiem, forced Odin to reveal my true parentage then I would still be foolishly dependent on Odin and his services. I didn't need him, I didn't need anyone, not anymore, I knew who I was and who I always will be. Loki.

But there is someone who needs me.

The Casket glowed a majestic blue, it's rays shining over my face, revealing my true Jotun form. After destroying Jotunheim, I became the last of my kind. The last of The Frost Giants there's something almost poignant and intimidating about that, it meant I was different, I and that pleased me.

But The Casket was not was I was after. On a stand at a far end of The Vault stood the first of the Infinite Gems I knew the presence of. The Tesseract. The Tesseract allows it's user to travel to any location be it within the nine realms or not. I myself had already used this gem once before, taking me to Earth.

The other Infinity Gem, the one had kept as my property for quite sometime, unknown to anyone else, The Aether. It was  in The Collectors possession, but I was not deterred, for though he had eyes he was blind to me. He would be easy to sneak pass and reclaiming The Aether would not be a problem. On a stand next to The Tesseracts was the empty stand of The Infinity Gauntlet, a solid gold glove that once all Infinity Gems have been placed inside, it gives the wearer unimaginable power. I was determined to claim it for myself. There were many who scoured the far reaches of the universe, searching in every world to trace the whereabouts of the gems and I with my knowledge and skills had no significant competition.

Just like with the scroll before, I took hold of The Tesseract, concealing it, storing it away in my possession.

I had everything I needed, and from the scroll I found my next move...

The were many creatures who would be willing to give up and do anything to gain knowledge about the Infinity Gems let alone attain one.

I had to be clever, which was never a problem.

Let the game begin....

(Authors note: hey everyone! Sorry if this chapter is a bit short.

I did tell you, Loki isn't to be trusted! How is Ayesha going to fit into all this? And where is Loki going? Is he really going to carry out his scheme knowing he has someone who relies on him?

I didn't want to include any dialogue in this chapter as I thought that hearing Loki's side and his thoughts wold much suit this chapter seeing as he is sneaking around in places he shouldn't have been.

Again as always please comment and tell me what you think!)
