Hydra

"Well I can't see why you think he's using me to try and get it back," I shrugged, mimicking the persona of Ayesha in her form perfectly. A plan already formulating in my mind. An Infinity Gem, here on Midgard? And just within my reach. Perfect. A cult called Hydra deemed it upon themselves to keep the sceptre in their possesion, the sceptre that was gifted onto me by The Other on behalf of Thanos. I highly doubt their puny Midgardian intellect are able to discover for sure what the sceptre is capable of. It belonged to me, and I was going to get it back in my grasp.

"Well your father is one of the big guys at Hydra, if Loki topples him, the rest of them won't stand a chance," Stark remarked as raised himself off the table he was leaning against, starightening his jacket. The man of iron was still as intolerable as I remembered from my first visit to this realm. "And then there's your rapid aging that seems to have stabilised as of late," Fury spoke out his eyes scanning my countenance for any emotion or expression that he could deem as suspicious. But I am a master of mischeif, I do not make such feeble mistakes. "You'll be a vulnerable target to Loki, and because you're somewhat different, easier to be found."

I listened intently to what the two allies had to say, imagining what Ayesha's reaction would be. I had to think in her mindset, as humiliating as that sounded, to think like a young female MIdgardian, it was relatively simple. "Vulnerable, just because I'm not like everyone else I know," I muttered, slowly glancing up to Stark, moving my eyes over to Fury, "That's a little demeaning don't you think?" Letting out a small sigh, I pressed my back against the chair I was sitting in, "You're forgetting willpower, if Loki somehow I don't know, tries to make me do anything, which I highly doubt because I've no idea who he is and I've never met him," it was not going to take much more effort to persuade them, the expressions on their faces revealed quite clearly they were falling into my trap of deception, "I have the power to say no and I'm sure I can fight back," I smirked in  my mind as another idea came to light, "If Loki crossing paths with me was something most likely to happen, do you really think my father would act so laidback about the threat as he is doing?"

"Huh," Stark pondered on my words while folding his arms, even for a human with his intellect he was not even a mere challenge to convince and trick. Neither was Fury for that matter. "She has a point Nick," Stark supported my claim just as I thought he would, "Hydra's not doing anything and they're the ones with the sceptre."

"I'm still certain Loki is involved in this somewhere," I grew wary of Fury's words, he couldn't have seen through the illusion I had put up, so I stayed quiet to quash his suspicions and listened anything else he had to say. I felt him glaring at me with his one uncovered eye, but of course I held my nerve, I was never easily broken, especially not by a Midgardian. "But I think we're clutching at straws here," he sighed, "Thank you for your time," and motioned for Stark to follow as they left.

Fools. You have no idea what secrets you have let slip onto my ears. They need to be more careful who they trust for not everyone is who they seem to be.

A triumphant smirk was painted across my face as I made my way back to Ayesha's room. During my attempt to rejoin Ayesha, Wendy stopped my halfway much to my annoyance and asked for the details on what was said. I was not going to share anything with the woman and merely dismissed her curiousity, "They wanted to see if I knew anything about something or other but they realised they were interrogating the wrong girl," and left to go upstairs where I found Ayesha still in form of myself, reading.

"Everything go alright?" she smiled peering over the book. I would be lying if I said that seeing Ayesha as myself did not make me feel uncomfortable. "It went better than expected, they came to see you for information, but ended up telling important secrets to me." This sparked her curiosity as she closed the book setting it to the side, "That isn't even in the very least surprising considering it's you," the young human laughed lightly while moving to join by my side, "Care to tell little innocent me what you know? I promise I won't tell anyone," she looked at me with wide eyes and a small childish pout which didn't fail to amuse me.
