It was not going to take too much effort on my part to defeat the Midgardians who had the audacity to treat me in this fashion. I had already fooled them into thinking that they wounded my being, but they were very much mistaken, Their assumption couldn't have been any further from the truth. It was a simple illusion, enough to trick their ignorant, naive minds. It is of no wonder then, why Midgard is seperate and has been kept in the dark about the rest of the nine realms. It is quite amusing how Asgard has fallen from their common knowledge and found sactuary in mere legends and myths considered to be false, And still they pride themselves on how advanced and superior they think they are.
"If you think you're getting out of here you're wrong, Hydra is more secure than SHIELD," the agent spoke, amusing me greatly. I recognised the man from what I had discovered about SHIELD during my attempt to subjugate Midgard.
"Agent Ward I presume," I smirked, keeping eye contact with the man.
Right then and there I noticed the slight change of expression in the pathetic Midgardian's face. How could they try to fool me? A master of trickery and mischief. The biggest mistake they made was locking me in the cage when I could break free in a matter of seconds.
"Is that meant to impress me?" he turned round to face me, bemused, and failing like everyone else, to sense the illusion I had set in place. "Because the way I see it, the great Asgardian is going to die in a HYDRA cell."
"Ah so you have captured Thor too then," I smirked, unable to resist mocking their ignorance. I'm hardly an Asgardian. I would never affiliate myself with being one of them. After all it was Odin who exiled me to this meagre realm. Betrayed yet again. Is this the reward I get from helping to protect the nine realms and Thor's precious mortal from Malekith and The Dark Elves? And yet still they question the reason behind my actions.
"I was talking about you."
I find it amusing when lower races always insist on clarifying the obvious to the point that they do not comrehened their own gullibility. And lack of a sense of humour. "A word of advice if I were you," the moment of my escape and opportunity for me to take my revenge was nearing ever so rapidly. "Never underestimate me."
No matter how much they can pride themselves on never losing.
I still win.
But enough talk.
The sceptre is within my reach, and soon the inifinity stone inside it will be returned to it's rightful owner.
Me.
Which will make retrieving the Aether an easier task now that I have both The Sceptre and the Tesseract.
But there was another I had to free from HYDRA's grasp. A girl who had grown to be special to me but still a mystery. Ayesha. Was I growing soft for caring for her? The question of her true identity was burning in my mind.
Who was she?
I need to get to her
And take her back to Asgard with me
Nothing, not even Odin can force me apart from Ayesha
She is the only one in all the nine realms that I have found to be like me.
To understand what it was like to live a life in a cold shadow. Lied to. Bullied. Betrayed.
"What can you do? You're trapped here, powerless. And they're already planning your execution."
