Loki's Point of view

I took a slow breath before opening the door. I knocked it first, just to check if she had awoken. Ayesha had been in a comatose state for a few days and I was beginning to become thorough with suspense waiting for her to revive.

Today, like the days before I received no answer, so I turned the handle, opening the door slightly just to make sure. To my surprise Ayesha was sat up straight in her bed, at last she had returned to the land of the living.

Having a good rest are we?

I said, communicating with Ayesha's mind, I knew she could hear me. The shock of hearing my voice in her head painted an expression of amazement and shock over her countenance. Her pupils widened as she blinked, with her mouth gaping open out of sheer surprise.
She was about to utter a word but I raised a finger to my thin lips, and motioned to her to return a reply through the same method in which I spoke.

How are you doing that? Wait can you hear me too?

I nodded as I neared the bed, replying: we have the gift of magic, it's a basic trick. How are you feeling?

My head is a lot less congested, it doesn't hurt at all anymore. It's always been there so it feels so good to have taken away. Have I been here long.

I sat beside the Midgardian, pleased with her progress. seven days, I had my mother care for you.

Thank you.

A mortal could not go that long without sustenance. But during her time unconscious she was taking on my traits, she had grown taller to my height, and feeling of hunger reduced and like me her facial features were more defined and the colour of her eyes enhanced. She had finally bonded with the powers I gave to her, though it did take it's time in doing so. Coming to Asgard aided her condition, the air was cleaner and the atmosphere was pure, free from pollution.

I saw in Ayesha's possession an object I had not set my eyes on for such a long time. It was perched on her lap, in the open, I had forgotten about it until that point. "What have you got there?" I pointed, knowing full well what the item was. I lifted it from her, gingerly gracing my fingers over the edges and the spine.
"I hope you don't mind that I read a couple of them," the earthling confessed, slightly nervous and pulled on the bed throw. Perhaps she remembered our argument and my outburst. I had hurt her, apologetic was not a part if my nature, surely she knew it was not a deliberate mistake. I was at loss for words, unsure as to how much of our conflict she had remembered. I am usually well composed and dignified, conscious about my actions, but during that on Earth before Ayesha had collapsed, the questions and theories I built up clouded my vision, not allowing me to think clearly. Causing me to lash out the way I did. That was a first. That must never happen again! I could hear what was running through Ayesha's head, unlike everyone else who knew me, she didn't hate me, or perceive me falsely as a broken soul, damaged and sorrowful. I was still her friend, her only friend. I had an ally in Ayesha. "Loki it's fine, I'm just a little cold, I promise!" she reassured me. Wait did I just share my thoughts aloud with her?

"You do know it's rude to read somebody's private writings without invitation?" I placed the book back it's drawer, never to be opened again, I was still deeply annoyed, I had only ever intended the words I wrote in that small book to be read by myself, nobody else.

"I'm sorry, I just found it in that cabinet, it's really good though!" She chirped, shuffling closer to me . I had to admit, She was a very strange human.

"You liked it?" I raised my eyebrow curiously, we stared at each other for a moment. I pondered on sharing more of my work with Ayesha, she was so inquisitive and in wonderment of me. Breaking the silence, I shook my head, wiping away those thoughts until it was as if they never had existed. She had seen too much already, enough. "Well that was long time ago, I have no need for that anymore, useless. Come on."
