Here I am, sitting in class again.

But it's different than the first time.

Because the first time I wasn't in Reece's hoodie.

I smile to myself as I doodle on a piece of paper before class officially starts.

Starting to wonder why Reece isn't here.

Books slam down on the desk next to me and I think I jump about 10 feet in the air.

"Oh, sorry did I scare you?" Logan drawls in a tone that makes me think he's not sorry at all.

"Is something wrong?" I ask.

"Thought you said you two weren't a thing." He muses as he sits down.

"We're not." I say, confused.

"Then why do you have his hoodie on?" He asks, staring straight ahead.

"How did you know it was his-"

"Whatever, Athena." He says as he opens a random book.

I slide back in my seat, a little sad. I mean, I like Logan.

But then my attention shifts as Reece walks in.

I quickly direct my eye contact away before he sees me looking.

But that doesn't mean I don't watch out of the corner of my eye.

He's looking at me.

Annoyed.

He's annoyed.

That's not good.

Why is he annoyed? I thought we were good. Why is he so moody?

Fine then.

"We're just friends." I say. "Me and Reece."

"Really? Does he know that?" Logan asks, facing me again.

"Reece doesn't think about me like that." I say.

Reece has always been a heartbreaker.

I forgot about that. Never really asked him, did I?

He probably does this with all of the others. Wins them over with his mysterious ways.

I mean, I could see how they could fall for him.

I almost did.

"Well, that's good to know. Look, I don't want to be forward or anything but...I don't know. You're so different from everybody else here. Everybody seems so generic. Would I be totally out of line to ask if you maybe wanted to get some food after school? Or something else. Anything you want to do." He rushes out.

That's sorta cute.

Okay, that's really cute.

I shake the thoughts of Reece out of my head.
