The two men kept on dancing until very late. Almost everyone has took off and went home but they were still there. Mr.Graves has decided that they won't go home until he taught Credence how to dance because, he was a total mess. He kept on stepping on Mr.Graves' feet and he apologized every time but Mr.Graves just laughed and assured him that it's okay.

But Credence's dancing skills got a little better and they were both having a good time, until a man came to them and muttered something in Italian. He was pretty short and almost bald. He seemed pissed from his tone and as they stopped dancing and backed away from each other a bit, Credence looked at Mr.Graves expecting to see a look as confused as his was. But he looked way far from confused, he looked pissed as well and his cheeks turned bright pink.

To Credence's surprise, Mr.Graves started to furiously speak in Italian as well. He couldn't understand a word of what he was saying but he loved his accent and how he discovered another great thing about him.

Credence looked from Mr.Graves to the man like he was watching a tennis ball. It was really uncomfortable looking at them arguing. He even though at some point that they were going to start punching each other but fortunately, they didn't.

At some point, Mr.Graves reached for Credence's hand and held it in his, and when the man saw that, he started pointing at the door and say something in Italian again. Mr.Graves gave him a furious look and squeezed his hand."Come one, Credence. It's getting late, we should go home." said Mr.Graves, looking one more time at the man then dragging Credence out of the mansion. As they were walking, some of the people that were still there turned their heads to look at them.

They made their way out and were heading towards a small park near the mansion that Credence didn't notice until they got closer to it.

"What did that man want? Do you know him?" asked Credence still confused after what happened inside.

"No, I don't know him." his voice was now soft and tender, so Credence calmed down a bit.

"Then why did he start screaming at you out of the blue?"

"I don't want to talk about this, Credence." said Mr.Graves before wrapping his arm around Credence's waist and without a warning, everything went black and Credence did feel a bit dizzy but it got better than the first and second time they Apparated.

They landed in the middle of the living room and as usual, Mr.Graves caught him before falling but let go of him really quickly and started pacing up and down the room and Credence started to worry again.

"Please tell me what's wrong.." begged Credence and was scared when Mr.Graves stopped from pacing. He thought he was going to scream at him or slap him but when he looked up into his eyes, he wasn't angry....he was just sad.

"Credence..." started he as he took a step closer to him."Usually, at a ball, couples dance."

"But... we are not a couple." said Credence with a puzzled look and felt how his cheeks turned slightly pink.

"No...but we looked like one. And people don't accept two boys being that...close."

"So that man wanted us to leave..."

"He made it very clear when he pointed to the door...but that's not what made me angry..." Mr.Graves looked even sadder now and it broke Credence to see him like this.

"Then why are you? Did he say something rude to you?"

"No...I mean yes but I don't care about what he said about me." Mr.Graves was just incapable of saying why he looked so sad, and it seemed really odd because he isn't usually like this...quite the opposite.
