They waited for any sign of humans around them but even when the sun was already up, no one was on the streets, no movement in the windows, no sound of cars, nothing.
So they decided to walk and walk until they found something interesting.
With no one around them, Mr.Graves took the chance of holding Credence's hand without getting weird looks. He first started drawing his hand slowly to his and when Credence noticed what he wanted to do, he smiled and went for it, grabbing the man's hand and walking next to each other. At some point, Credence wrapped his left arm around Mr.Graves' that he was already holding and they walked like this. This is the most calm he ever felt in his life. Calm and loved
When everything started to get blurry, however, Credence panicked.
"Mr.Graves, I can't see clearly anymore."
"Credence," the man said but his name came out in an echo rather than his normal, deep voice.
Nothing made sense anymore.
Credence now lost sight of everything and he was still reaching for his lover's hand. But he was nowhere to be found.
His vision started getting to normal again, but his head was dizzy.
There was a light in front of him and he felt very incapable to move.
A shadow started to walk slowly towards him. He squinted his eyes in an attempt to get a better look at the person in front of him.
"W-Who are you?" asked Credence with all his power.
The person said nothing.
"What did you do?" Credence already started shouting and it literally hurt his lungs and head. "Where's Percival."
He was surprised by what he's called him. He always spoke to and about him with respect and never used his first name.
"Was it nice seeing him?" a voice spoke.
"What?"
"I hope you enjoyed that kiss and those moments. Because you'll never see him again."
