His voice was sexy!!

He kept on singing all the romantic songs one after the other. His voice together with the sound of guitar was giving me chills and it took me into a beautiful place inside my mind where I am listening to a beautiful voice with awesome music at the side of a river and no one is around to disturb the sound of that music.
Suddenly, my thoughts washed away with the sound of bell and I mentally cursed the bell as I wished that this music class go on forever. I wanted to listen his magical voice for a little longer.
I was in the dilemma that whether I should go and talk to him or not. I am a very confident person when it comes to public speaking. And now, I realised that I am complete opposite when it comes to talking to a person you actually like. I was thinking of all the possible sentences I could say and was unable to form one. As I reached to the music hall's door, I realised he was near me and being near to him was such a good feeling that it sent some chills down my spine. I was imagining about his hand sliding by mine and then I thought, telling him that he sings well won't sound  inappropriate at all. After thinking for another 30 seconds meanwhile we both walking our ways towards the classroom door. I said to him "Hey! You really...umm...sing..umm good..i mean very good...grreat!" mentally cursing myself for all that stammering which has never happened to me before.
He then gave a pretty and wicked smile and said "Thank you". That smile made me shiver and giving me a beautiful vibe by just being around him. I was very happy as today I shared words with him which was making me happy. If just a little chat can make me feel this way, what would happen when we will actually talk with each other.

Does this little conversation would means something to him? Would he ever feel the same way about me like I feel? Would he ever find me attractive? Would he be willing to share his thoughts with me someday? Would he be willing to be my friend? Such thoughts started to build in my mind. And then I thought he is way out of my league and I should bury these stupid feelings as what I think is never going to happen. Besides, I would never let him know that I like him as I have a reputation to maintain in my school which is of a very intelligent, all-rounder, savage but innocent and pure girl who never had a boyfriend before, never kissed anyone before, a girl who can never fall into this trap of love and  especially never for such random boys. So, I thought of giving a break to my thought process.

After reaching the class, I saw Masie already sitting there.
"God! That Gerald guy! He sings awesome" I told Masie as soon as I reached to my seat.
"You like him! Don't you?" she said with a grin on her face.
"Are you kidding me! He and I! Never Masie" I said keeping my face still and hiding my emotions.
"I never said He and You!! and besides you always told me that you would want a guy who is good at music. " Masie giggled.
"Well! No I dont like him and nothing is there about him. He looks so stupid from his face. I have a thing for guys who sing good but not hiiimmm!!" I said straight to her face and for the record i don't think that he is stupid.
"You can tell me whenever you feel comfortable" she said with a mood to end this conversation.
I ignored her last sentence knowingly.

After some boring lectures, this was now the last continuous three periods of "Physical Education" class and Mr.Joseph came to class and asked us to go down to the basketball ground. We went down to the court following Mr.Joseph and then he announced that he will divide the class into six teams and then each all the 3 basketball courts, matches will be played and he will keep the scores.
He first selected 6 captains and I was one of them which was obvious as I am also the leader of school's basketball team. Then, he asked us to pick the players. I picked all the good players and for the last spot I had option between Masie and Nicolas as Masie is worse at playing games and noone knows about the new guy in the school. Then, I picked up Masie as I knew if I had choosen him over her, she could have made my life a living hell.

As the game was about to start on all 3 courts, Mr.Joseph called two other games faculty to be the refree in the game.
We won the first game as our opposite team could not score even one basket and we did 5 in the same time.
After that, I got to know that Nicolas is also a great basketball player and he scored 2 baskets from his team and his team also won on their court.
Now, my team will face the team with Nicolas in it. I was happy to see this as I could get the chance to face Nicolas with the ball which would be awesome as you all know what happens when two players fight over one ball in a basket ball game.
Me being very competitive, I decided to win this match too.
During the game, as I thought, I was dribbling the ball towards the basket and Nicolas came in my way to stop me from putting the ball into the basket. His arms were open and he was facing me, trying to stop me from going any further and I was disturbed by seeing his arms like that. It was hard for me to concentrate on the game and suddenly Masie helped. She shouted, "El!! Basket!! Look at it!! Make the move!! You are only a few feets away. You've got this." It took me out of my fairytale world and I tricked him with the footwork and threw the ball to the basket and gooaaaalll!!

He was now 10 feets away and I saw him and smiled at Nicolas with a confidence. He showed me thumbs up and hit his heart with his feast twice symboling that he lost it and it hurts. And then I showed him thumb's down and laughed. He laughed too.

This was the best game of my life till now.

When we were moving back to class to pick up our stuff, he said " Well! I am a good at singing but you are better than me at basketball! Good game" giving a naughty smile.
"Thanks" I said smiling back at him.

The best of the school!!!

When I picked my stuff, I noticed Masie looking at me continuously and it was as if she was looking me for quite a time.
"Whaaaaat?" I asked.
"You tell me!!" she said with a cunning smile on her face.
"Let's go home!" I said trying to change the topic.
"ooooo...changing the topic.. Okay!" she replied, clearing silencing me.

And today I got to know that the hardest thing for me in this world is to hide anything from my best friend.
But whatever happened...the events of the day are worth remembering!!

Then me and Masie together went home and during this whole time there was this stupid silence amongst us which was never there before.
When we reached her home, I said "Hey!! There's nothing..If there will ever be anything.. You will be the first person to know. I promise!" breaking the silence.
She said "I know there's something for sure and may be it is just for you to find out...not me" winking at me.
And then I left smiling at her words.
