*Mitch’s POV*

Oh my god…this is it. I’m finally gonna kiss Scott!

*Scott’s POV*

So close…just do it! Come on Scott do it! Just kiss him! Sure he’s your best friend but you like him..

*Mitch’s POV*

Kiss me, Scottland..please…I want you to kiss me..NO!..I need you to kiss me! I need to know if my feelings for you are stronger than I thought they were. I need to know if you feel the same way..I…I need you to like me back..

*Hotel room, picking up where we left off*

As millions of thoughts race through their minds, Scott and Mitch are frozen in fear of kissing one another.

As they slowly grow closer, Mitch softly bites his bottom lip as his hands gently grip Scott’s arms. Less than an inch away, Scott quickly thinks of something to avoid kissing his best friend.

Scott: Hey! I totally forgot! I got you something earlier!

Mitch smiled, even though he’s a bit sad from not kissing Scott. He thought to himself. “Damn it, Scott! Why did you do that? Did I do something wrong? Do you not want to kiss me?”

He watches as Scott reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a beautiful necklace that has “Mitch” written in shiny gold cursive writing. His jaw drops at the sight of it. Covering his mouth, Mitch is speechless.

Scott smiles and slowly puts it around Mitch’s neck. All Mitch can do is look at it in the mirror beside them.

Scott: I saw a necklace like this and thought, Mitch would LOVE this! So I got one made for you!

He says still smiling. Mitch turns around, placing his hands on Scott’s chest and smiling bright up to him as his eyes sparkle.

Mitch: I can’t believe you did that! Why did you do that? It’s so beautiful! It must’ve cost you a fortune!

Scott chuckles, shaking his head.

Scott: No.

He smiles, putting his hands on Mitch’s sides.

Scott: It doesn’t matter the cost. To see you happy is priceless.

Mitch’s cheeks turn a bright red.

Scott: Forgive me now?

Mitch: I already did, remember?

Scott: I didn’t believe you. I wanted to, but I knew you were still upset. I could feel it.
