Date Night

*Three months go by, and it's another day off.*

Scott is with Kirstie, Avi and Kevin while Mitch is at the doctor with Jonathan for a check up.

Scott: So tonight, since we have the day off, I thought I could take Mitch out on a date! What do you guys think?

Kirstie: I think that's a great idea!

Avi: That'd be super sweet of you!

Kevin: Where do you want to take him?

Scott: I don't know yet..I was thinking of maybe dinner and a movie or take him to a spa or something...

*At the Doctors office*

Jonathan: So do you think you'll be with Scott forever?

He asks as Mitch sits on the bed and waits while swinging his legs.

Mitch: I hope so...

He says while blushing.

Jonathan: Do you love him?

Mitch: Well of course! I've always loved Scott.

Jonathan: I mean love love. Are you in love with Scott?

Mitch: ...I don't know..maybe?..

Jonathan raises his eyebrow.

Mitch: Well he has always been here for me and always sticks up for me when I need it...and he's really a total sweetheart and he could never hurt anyone. Plus he's so adorable and funny and has a great personality...

He smiles as he thinks of Scott.

Jonathan smiles.

Mitch: I do know, however, when I do get married, I want my dream date to happen first!

Jonathan: Which is?

Mitch: We spend all day together, then at night, we have dinner, take a romantic walk through the park, take a relaxing boat ride, anchor in the lake, and watch the stars in the sky and cuddle until we decide to go back home. Then before I go inside, I want him to propose. It doesn't have to be Scott.

He smiles blushing.

*At the hotel*

Kirstie: Are you in love with Mitch?

Scott: I don't think so?...

Kirstie: Why do you say that?

Scott: We've been best friends forever and just started dating three months ago.

Kirstie: So?

He shrugs.

Scott: I don't know. Maybe I will fall in love with him later but as of right now, I'm perfectly happy here with him as my boyfriend.

As time passes, Mitch comes to the hotel and reports to his friends that everything is okay. It's now 6:47 pm.

Mitch is texting a friend about Scott, as Scott approaches.

Scott: Hey, Mitchie!

He smiles up at him.

Mitch: Hey, cutie!

Scott: I have a question

He says as he sits next to his boyfriend.

Mitch: Which is?

Mitch asks as he holds Scott's hand.

He kisses Mitch's hand.

Scott: I was thinking you and I could go on a date tonight!

He smiles as Mitch blushes.

Mitch: I would love to, Scottland!

*A few hours later, on the date*

Mitch: Scott, this is beautiful!

He says in amazement as he looks at the restaurant.

Scott blushes in response.

Scott: Just like someone else I know!

Mitch returns the blush as they look at each other. It turns a deep shade of red as Scott kisses his cheek.

As the rest of the night goes on, they laugh and talk about secrets they've kept of liking each other.

They laugh. Mitch more so than Scott.

Mitch: Oh my gosh!

He laughs.

Scott: I used to get so jealous when I'd see you with someone else. Like during rehearsal one day and Kirstie was gone, so you had to sing her part in Forget You/Since You Been Gone!

Mitch: And I had to "be with" Avi!

They laugh thinking of it.

Scott nods.

Scott: Yeah! I don't know why! I knew it was just a song and you and Avi have nothing going on!

Mitch: Although I do think something is going on when Kirstie does it..

Scott's jaw drops.

Scott: I know right!

Mitch: If she and Avi like each other, they should really tell each other..

Before Scott can reply, Mitch speaks again.

He gasps.

Mitch: Or we could set them up!!

Scott smiles, staring at Mitch's excitement.

Scott: Awww I love it when you play Cupid!

As the rest of the night goes on, Scott and Mitch have a great time together.

With the talks they have, they both get new ideas of the relationship in their heads.
