Final Day of Rehearsals

*It's the next day, and everyone is at rehearsals.*

Jonathan: How confident are you guys for the show tomorrow?

Kevin: 10

Avi: 7.5

Kirstie: 9

Scott: 8

Mitch holds up a five.

Jonathan: Why do you say five?

Mitch points to his throat.

Scott: Everything will be okay, Mitchie. You're voice will come back soon.

He says as he wraps his arm around Mitch.

Jonathan: I want to run through a few things then we are breaking off one by one for interviews with the movie crew. Kirstie, you're up first.

Kirstie: Alright!

She smiles and goes to the dressing room for the interview. While she's gone, the guys run through choreography.

*In the dressing room*

Interviewer: Start by telling us who you are and how you know the guys.

Kirstie: Okay, we'll I'm Kirstin but I go by Kirstie. I'm the girl of Pentatonix and I know Scott and Mitch from school. We went to school together and were in a trio for choir! Um, Avi we know from a friend and Kevin, Scott found on YouTube.

Interviewer: Tell us about your friendships with each member.

Kirstie: Well Scott is definitely the closest to me out of all the guys. He has such a big heart and he's really funny! Mitch is a sassy little guy!

She laughs.

Kirstie: He is an amazing singer! Kevin is like the brother you love to annoy but get along great anyways. Avi...Avi is incredible. His bass voice is insane and his smile is so adorable...

*At the stage*

As the guys work on choreography, Mitch can't get his mind off of Scott liking someone else.

He looks over at Scott who is still wearing his new PTX shoes and smiles.

Scott laughs as Avi spins his hips in circles.

Jonathan: Avi, what are you doing?

Avi: Workin' on my leg muscles!

Scott laughs harder.

Jonathan: Okay..I think this calls for a break. When we return, we are looking at the new lighting set up and stage.

Avi, Kevin and Scott: Okay!

Scott comes over to Mitch.

Scott: Hey! How are you feeling?

Mitch makes a face that Scott can tell means a bit better.

Kirstie comes back and tells Avi to go to the dressing room for interviews.

Scott: You look really good in your new hoodie!

He smiles poking Mitch's chest.

Mitch giggles and blushes.

Kirstie: So how did it go?

Mitch gives her a confused look.

Kirstie: Didn't Scott tell you about his crush? You must be very happy!

She says while smiling.

Mitch looks down a bit.

Scott: I was about to...then Jonathan said we had to leave...

Her smile quickly fades.

Kirstie: Oh! Do you want to tell him now?

Mitch's eyes widen and he shakes his head.

*Mitch's POV*

No! No no no! No! Absolutely not! I can't take this right now. I can't. I can't keep crying and being hurt. I'm happy Scott has found someone who makes him happy but I can't be truly happy hearing about him wanting someone else!

*Stage*

Scott: I guess I can...

Just then, Mitch is called in for interviews. He takes the opportunity and runs to the dressing room.

Scott sighs.

Scott: Damn it!

Kirstie: Hey..

They hug.

Kirstie: It will be okay..

Scott: He doesn't even seem interested in me telling him.

Avi over hears and comes over.

Avi: He thinks you like someone else.

Scott: H-he does?

Avi: Yeah, at the restaurant the other day he told me he thinks the guy you like is someone else...

Scott: Why would he think that?

Kirstie: Maybe because you ditched him for Todrick?

Scott: But he would know if I liked Todrick...

Kirstie: Scott, either way you need to tell Mitch it's HIM you want to be with. Not someone else.

Scott: I'm trying to! Every time I get the chance, something happens and I can't.

Kevin: I have an idea!! Tomorrow before the show, in the dressing room, you tell him how you feel. Nothing will interrupt that!

Avi: Good idea!

Scott nods.

Scott: Okay...then it's settled. Tomorrow before the show, I am going to tell Mitch Grassi how I feel.
