"Ano bang problema mo?" tanong ko kay Jasper na nasa kama pa.
Pinuntahan ko siya sa condo niya matapos akong bisitahin ni Derek sa office.
"Bakit ba andaming tumatanong niyan sa akin lately?" he said habang naalimpungatan pa.
"Kasi lately tinotopak ka!" sagot ko sa kanya.
"I am perfectly okay," he shrugged.
"Gago ka ba? Naapektohan ba ng chlamydia yang utak mo? Ha?" Hindi siya sumagot. "I heard from Derek what you did again. At first incident pinagalitan ko si Joey kasi pumalpak siya. Pero according to Derek, okay lang naman performance niya. For a noob okay raw siya,"
Naka-rest lang siya sa headboard, nakapikit. Pero alam kong gising siya kasi naka-frown siya.
"Ha? Kaya ano bang problema mo? Kasi hindi ko maintindihan ang behavior mo. You're not like that," I continued.
"I don't like her," he curtly said.
"Wow. Are we talking about the same Joey here? She's funny, witty, intelligent, hindi maarte... I can go on and on about the things that are likeable about her,"
He stared at me with a frown. "Alam mo parehas kayo ni Derek. Gumawa nga kayo ng fans club para sa kanya. Go,"
"But she's likeable!" I insisted. Ignoring his sarcasm.
"Wait--" he said, "You said you like someone... Is that someone..."
He left it hanging.
"So what if it's her?" I said defensively.
"Oh my god," as if I said the most ridiculous thing ever.
"Okay. Shut up. This is not about me liking her. It's about you bullying her,"
"Oh come on. Stop nagging me about your 'crush'," he said the last word as if it's a bad word.
"I don't get where this animosity is coming from, dude. Really, it's childish,"
"Shut the hell up,"
"Dude, just give Joey a break. Okay?"
He didn't respond.
"Please,"
A moment of silence.
"Fine," he answered half-heartedly. "But don't expect that I would join in with your pathetic fans club,"
"Ewan ko sa'yo," sabi ko na lang sa kanya.

Pupunta sana ako sa workshop ngayon to check out the new models. Papasok na ako sa studio ng marinig kong banggitin ng isa sa mga models ang pangalan ni Joey.
"Ang swerte talaga niya! Kasama niya si Jasper sa shoot. THE Jasper Heiffer," sabi ng isa.
"She's not worth it, though. Skills pa lang, wala na siya kay Jasper. Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya of all the models," sagot naman ng isa.
"Exactly,"
"Buti na lang hate siya ni Jasper," tawa ng isa.
"Pero gustong gusto naman siya ni Evo,"
"Oo nga, eh. So sad. Wala siyang taste sa babae,"
Excuse me? Ako? Walang taste sa babae.
"Crush na crush po naman siy--"
I coughed. Out loud. And entered the studio. I looked at he girls who were having the conversation. They're pretty. But trashy pretty. Far from Joey.
