Chapter 50- Lost Connection

IMPORTANT- Second book! This takes place after all of that Aaron shit. Travis and Zane loose connection once more and yeah...

Travis's POV

0Guess I have to go... I love you"

"I love you too"

We let our hands go and he enters the car, I see them drive off and I'm left alone again.

That was the last time I talked to  Zane... we completely lost touch after that... they all came back and looked upset and I didn't want to interfere with anything so I stayed back... I moved out to leave him be. I'm now here at starlight wonderland with Katelyn and my Dad.

"Travis are you done unpacking or do you need me to help?" She peeks her head through the door.

"I'm fine" I put the suitcase in the corner of my room and I leave it there.

"Travis you look... upset?" It's cause I am, I feel like an asshole for leaving Zane behind like that for the second time. Now I'm probably not going to see him again for a couple of months or for forever. I don't respond instead I sigh.

"Oh come on, Travis lets go outside and enjoy this nice weather!"

"Hmm... okay" we walk outside and I grab her hand once I see Dad outside.

"So where are you two lovebirds going?" He asks putting his hands in his pockets.

"I don't know, somewhere other than here" my voice sounded so boring and dreadful, I was afraid Dad would notice that and start questioning me but he didn't. We go past him and we walked around starlight for things to do but my mind was somewhere else. I soon bump into someone and I fall on the ground with the person falling on top of me.

"Ow... shit, watch where your fucking going!" His eyes widened as soon as he sees it's me but then goes back to being angry.

"Is Zane okay?" Kawaii chan follows behind him, wearing a weird Hawaiian shirt.

"Travis!? Katelyn?!" Zane gets off of me and helps me up, Kc runs over to Katelyn and gives her a hug.

"What are you guys doing here!"

The conversation lasted for a long time, Zane was just waiting there on his phone for the whole time... damn he's changed. His hair has gotten so fucking long that he now has it in a small pony tail and he seems to have muscles again.

"Kawaii~ Chan lets go" Zane begs, she waves goodbye and walks off with him behind her.

Zane's POV

Okay my heart couldn't take being around him for much longer, I miss him so much but I guess he's moved on now from the looks of things or I would've run up to him already and collided our lips together. We technically haven't broken up yet but it feels like it... I look down at my engagement ring... I still have it.

"Isn't that great Zane! Travis and Katelyn are on the island with us! Now we can have fun with them!"

"Yeah... great"

"Oh Zane!" Oh no... Ghost. As soon as I step in I hear her voice and I bolt out of there, nope not happening. I can tell she's running behind me, screaming things I couldn't make out, quickly I run behind a tree, I can see her looking around, I slowly back away not trying to keep my eyes off of her but I bump into someone again.

"Not again..." I rub my ass and I look backwards at the person I've just bumped into... this prick again.

"I'm sorry Zane!" Travis apologizes and runs off. I go the separate direction since ghost spotted me. I finally run out of breath and I sit behind a big rock on the beach. My mind goes back to Travis, Irene damn it I can't look at him anymore without wanting to cry or kiss him.

Travis's POV

"Woah where are you going Travis!" Katelyn yells running after me, since I'm faster o loose her in the process and I sit down on a bench far away from people and I bring my knees to my face. Oh my heart aces, he looks like he hates me... he definitely hates me, I fucked up, he'll never forgive me for leaving him like that, twice! I fucked in twice!

"Travis! What's wrong now!" Katelyn sits next to me, her face filled with concern, I trust Katelyn so much so I tell her about how I feel and she listens.

"Zane hates everyone... okay I'm not helping but he definitely doesn't hate you"

"How can you know that?"

"Before anything of this happened you two loved each other so much, you guys were inseparable, those feeling just don't go away so quickly. I know it's been a year but... he probably still loves you, you can't know for sure unless you go and talk to him"
I sigh and I lay my head on her shoulder, Katelyn is right but I can't face him... at least not now.

Zane's POV

"Zane! Kawaii~chan has been looking for you everywhere!"

"Go away Kawaii~ chan!"

"No! Kawaii~chan can't do that! What's wrong?! Kawaii~chan gets that you were running from ghost but then you just started bolting out of nowhere even when she stopped!"

"I don't want to talk about it, leave me alone"

"Please Zane"

"Okay... fine. It's Travis, I just... miss him being close to me but I don't have the guts to go up to him... plus he looks like he's moved on"

"Awww, that's so cute but why do you think he's moved on?"

"He looks like he's happy with Katelyn, I saw them holding hands earlier too"

"Okay Kawaii~Chan can't explain that but Kawaii~chan is sure deep down he at least still cares about you"

After a couple of minutes of silence we stand up and walk back home, Aphmau and Aaron were outide doing things and I just went back to my room without saying a thing. I put my face to the pillow and try to go to sleep.

Travis's POV

We went past Dad and I go to my room, the room is cold from the air conditioner being on so I cover myself. I grab my phone and I look through my gallery, looking back at all the pictures on Zane and me. I grab my engagement ring from my pocket and examine it, had to take it off or else dad would know... he had to come at a really bad time.
