Chapter 53- Awkward

A/N- future me here, ignore that I skipped a chapter... I'm sorry.

Zane's POV

I'm regretting everything today, me and Nana are walking over to the theme park right now to meet up with Travis and his Katelyn... ugh. At least Aphmau's going to be there so that's good, upon arriving I can see them, Katelyn and Travis as close as ever, I sigh as we walk over to them. They all greet each other and we get to do random and boring shit, all the girls were acting suspicious which was expected. Finally came the big spiny stupid week thing and we were all going to get on... they jumped out at the lasts second leaving me and Travis alone. We both stayed quiet just randomly looking at each other then gazing away... this is awkward.

"Ugh I'm going to kill them" I whisper to myself putting my hands to my face, I look up and I see Travis waving while he looks down at the girls and other people.

"What are you doing?" I asked confused.

"Helicoptering out of here with a magical husky driving me away... in waving what else"

"Kind of looks like your hand is having a seizure"

"I'm just full of energy! I ate about two candy apples, a bunch of candy and a total of three raw sugar packets"

"I'm surprised your not bouncing off of here, are you okay cause it looks like you want to explode"

"Pfft, in completely fine and what if I do want to explode?"

"Don't... you'll take me down with you and I'm not ready to fucking die"

"Now I want to explode even more, your dying with me"

"Your still annoying"

"And your still a douche"

"Wow that hurt so much in my Irene I'm going to cry" I say sarcastically. Before I knew it it stopped and were on the ground again, the girls come to us and we continue walking around, this time we're actually talking to each other.

"Your seriously going to die if you keep on eating all that sugar" I say seeing him take out a piece of candy from his pocket.

"Good, what if I wanted to die?"

"Then I'd slap you"

He rolls his eyes and eats the candy anyways, we leave the amusement park when it was already starting to get dark.

"I'm so proud of you!" Yells Nana as we separated from the rest of the group.

"Umm... why?"

"Cause you actually talked to him without murdering him"

"It was hard... he's still the same as I last remember him"

"Isn't that good?"

"It is... it's great actually"

"What happened to your engagement ring?" She ask pointing to my left hand.

"I... I took it off this morning"

"Why would you do that!"

"Why would I still have it on? Travis doesn't..." I got bummed out again.

Travis's POV

That was amazing! In not even mad at them.

"Travis why are you skipping?" Asks Katelyn as we're walking home.

"Because I'm happy!"

"And why is that?"

"Cause I got to talk to Zane again! That was great!"

"Your so stupid"

"Thanks, I get that a lot" I hop onto a bench and jump down dabbing.

"Your dead to me" Katelyn says running away, I follow behind her and we arrive home, Dad is no where to be seen which is normal. Today was a good day, at least me and Zane got to talk to each other again in about a year... what if I text him? I still have his number so I should give it a shot.

Travis- U alive?

Zane- why wouldn't I? I should be asking you that.

Oh great he responded, I actually didn't think of anything to text back cause I didn't think he'd answer so I don't know what to do:

Travis- I am... I think unless I'm a ghost and I haven't known this whole time.

Zane's POV

"Aphmau give it back!" I tell running after her, she locks herself in the bathroom and now I'm deciding if I should break the fucking door down.

"Kawaii~Chan why are you not helping me!"

"Because Aphmau is helping you by doing this, Plus Kawaii~chan is to tired to do anything"

"Why do I even- APHMAU OPEN UP ON THE COUNT OF THREE IM BREAKING TGE DOOR DOWN! ONE, TWO, THREE!" Right on three she comes out of the bathroom and hands me my phone, she slouches in the couch next to Nana giving me a smirk.

"You can thank me later!" I pull up the texts and I want a fucking Narwal to stop me through the chest.

Zane: whoops sorry just fell down the stairs... anyways I have nothing planned tomorrow so maybe we can hang out with each other and catch up?

Travis- Really? Sure I'd be down, where and when exactly?

She left me fucking hanging, I look over at her and she's still smirking.

"Zane you should really finish that conversation" I roll my eyes and think for a second... I should pay bob rock a visit.

Zane: The beach near that big ass rock that looks like has a bit of graffiti on it, it's my favorite rock, I call it Bob rock. Anyways meet me there at 3, we're getting tacos after the beach.

Travis- well that's great!

Zane- great then it's a date.

Travis- a date?

Zane- yeah, anything wrong with that?

Travis- no! A date is fine, see you tomorrow then Zane... goodnight.

Zane: goodnight Travis

I'm dead... Aphmau squeals as she sees me turn my phone off and place it on the counter.

"Sooooooo" she chirps awaiting eagerly for my response.

"Mmm, it's a date" she squeals and claps, I guess this is good news but in a bit nervous... it's like I'm meeting a new person again.

Travis's POV

Does he want to get back together?! I mean we haven't broken up technically but I'm so happy and jittery again! Oh I can't wait for tomorrow!

"Travis are you good? Your either blushing or dying"

"Katelyn he asked me on a date!"

"Who asked what? Ohhhhh... OHHHHHH. Aah that's amazing Travis!" I jump up and down like a little girl would, oh isn't this just the fucking best day ever. Since it's time to go to bed I head into my room and grab my engagement ring from my bedside table drawer that was in a small black box with a red velvet interior. I like playing with it and putting it on when dads not around, I also can't really sleep without putting it on which is always a risk in case my dad decides to wake me up that day but he never does. Right now I'm just looking forward to Tomorrow, all I need to do is sleep... okay all that sugar was a horrible idea.
