Unexpected but Beautiful

Chapter 13: The Chase

As the person approached my bed and the nurse left I grew more and more hesitant with every step this person took closer to me. It was Lucas.!!!!

He comes up to me, grabs my hand and I swallow heavily and pull my hand away.

He said to me

"Bella I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Are you kidding me, Lucas you're the reason I'm in here !!! You have put me through absolute HELL these past years and now look what it's come to? You know I actually loved you and thought I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, but seeing you this past year....I'm tired of it. I'm tired of you, I'm tired of you dragging me behind you and not at your side like you should've, I'm tired of you tying to fix everything. I wish you would just say goodbye and with that you would be out of my life for good. because to be honest if I never had to see you again I would be completely happy!!!" I exclaimed starting to tear up.

With that he slapped me, not very hard but hard enough to have an effect on me.

I turned my head to him and yelled very loud

"SERIOUSLY, LUCAS I AM IN A GOD DAMN HOSPITAL BED FOR GOD SAKE AND YOU STILL SLAP ME!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!!

"I'm sorry Bella" Lucas said

"NO GET OUT, GET OUT OF THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW AND DON'T EVER STEP FOOT IN IT AGAIN!!!! I pretty much screamed.

With that the security and my nurse walked in and took Lucas out. The nurse rushed to my side and looked at my cheek and she said

"Oh my gosh honey you're bruised!"

She handed me an ice pack, and I held it to my wounded cheek. Just then I almost fall out of my bed at the commotion of Jc and Kian crashing open the door and running to me, sweating and panting.

Jc and Kian sat on my bed on each side, Jc pulled me into a very warm, protective, tight hug, then Kian wrapped himself around from the back of me and I hugged both of them back, I don't know how I did, but I managed to do it.

They pulled away and they inspected my, legs, arms, stomach,back, and my face and found the bruise that was on my cheek. Jc then kissed me quickly a then started to pace little and put the palms of his hands on the top of his head. To follow up with Jc's kiss Kian from behind me kissed me on my cheek.

Jc then stated

"That little-"

I cut him off with

"Okay what the hell is going on??"

Kian then informed me

"We got in a fight with Lucas, and he treated to find you and do something bad to you. After 3rd period we couldn't find him, so we sprinted here, to make you were safe!!"

I then plopped myself back with stress. There tention kind of settled. The nurse then got up to leave. Once she left the room Kian and Jc both came on each side of my bed and lied down at my side and protected me in a way I've never felt in my life. I then drifted of into a not too heavy and not too light sleep, but just right.
