Chapter 27: You Need to be Here

Bella's POV:
I could hear Kian's voice, but it was very faint. I was in this room, it was very light. But no one was there, I was alone. I was yelling but it wasn't external. I felt restricted, couldn't move, powerless, but careless and I kind of liked that feeling.

Kian's POV:
I sat there looking at Bella as I got off the phone with Jc. Her chest was barely moving up and down, but at least she was breathing. After a couple minutes of just sitting there in silence, I looked down at her stomach and it looked a tad bigger than normal. I didn't really think much if it. I kept trying to text Jc and tell him to come, then I recieved a call from him

"Jc, I wasn't kidding when I said you need to come out here, for Bella, dude." My voice stayed calm.

"Why should I believe you? How do I know this isn't some stupid excuse for me to come back?" He questioned in rude tone.

"You should believe me! I wouldn't joke about something like this dude! I'm telling you, Bella is BAD there is not a part on her body that isn't bruised, or at least scratched!" I started to maximize my voice.

"Well it sounds just like a couple of scratches to me!" 

"Jc, what the hell got into you? This is not the Jc I became best friends with, and this is for damn sure not the Jc Bella fell in love with!" I stated.

"People change Kian!"

"Yeah, and I'm sure as HELL it wasn't for the greater good." I shouted through the phone.

After I said that I hung up, and Bella opened her eyes and asked around the room for me. Once I realized she was saying my name I rushed to her side and said

"Hey, I'm right here, it's okay you're safe." in a calm, assuring voice.

When these words slipped from her lips I got all choked up.

"Where is Jc?" She said in a weary voice.

"He'll be here in a little bit." I lied, and then craddled her head gently on my chest.

A doctor then walked in and said

"Im sorry sir but we need to talk to you."
