Unexpected but Beautiful

Chapter 6: The Feeling of Love

After we stood there for a couple more seconds just staring at each others eyes, its amazing how much you can learn about a person just by looking into there eyes, He's going to do great things in life!!!!

We started to walk up his apartment stairs which wasn't that tiring he was only on the second floor. He had walked up from behind me and scanned a card he had in his hand and opened the door, then signaling me to go first, Lucas never did that. The door shut behind Jc as he walked in which caused me to kind of jump and turn around. He looked up at me from looking down at his feet removing his shoes.

I slowly started walking towards him and so did he we met each other and he pulled me in for a big comforting, loving hug. I hugged him back my arms wrapped around him tight, with my hands rubbing up and down on his back. We separated and he swept stray pieces of my hair behind my ear and landed a big lovely kiss on my lips.

He asked me if I wanted to watch a movie and I said yes.

We popped popcorn together, made root beer floats, and banana splits. I guess you can say we went a little over-board but it felt great to be doing this with someone that actually cares about me and isn't the reason I come home aching and bruised. Jc had gave me one of his shirts and it was huge on me, but I loved it it smelt of his cologne, and his warmth filled the inside of the shirt.

Once the movie had ended I told him I had to get home but at that time it was like 1:00 in the morning.

He told me to stay and he would take me to school tomorrow.

I agreed and he had set me up in his guest bedroom, kissed me goodnight and quietly left the room.

As I drifted off into a light sleep I started to see moments flash in my head, like a horror movie playing in my head. It was about Lucas and he had come to take me a way from Jc. In the dream Lucas turned to me, squared his fist, swung it like a baseball bat and hit me right across my face. When his fist hit my cheek I jumped up, heavily breathing and running my fingers through my hair. There was no way I was going to sleep after that!!!

I sat up in the bed for a couple more minutes and it was like 3:00 in the morning at the time. I uncovered myself, instantly a chill ran up my body. I walked over to Jc's room opened the door and he was quietly sleeping in his bed. I stood in the doorway for a second and just smiled.

I walked up to the side of his bed and placed myself under the covers. As I lie my head down on his pillow Jc turned to meet my eyes and he said

"What's wrong are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just had a bad dream and couldn't sleep." I whispered back to him.

He looked and me and nuzzled me close to him, I lied my head to rest on his chest. His arms were wrapped around me like he was giving me a hug. Jc kissed the top of my head and whispered to me

"I loved you Bella Whittecker"

I blushed and said back to him in a soft loving voice,

" How did I get so lucky to have you in my life"

I got butterflies in my stomach as he held me tighter and I drifted off to sleep.
