Unexpected but Beautiful

Chapter 9: He Stayed With Me

As I lie there still sobbing to the pain my vision started to become blurry. I heard the bell ring. I was too weak to try and call for help. I looked up at my phone and I was getting a call from Jc, I tried to grab it but before i could my hand just fell to the ground, too paralyzed to reach any further.

I heard the back door of the school open, I couldn't pick up my head to see who it was, so my head remained on the hard, sharp gravel. My blinks became longer and more heavy. As I opened my eyes from my rather long blink a blurry outline of someone approached me. I could faintly hear the person, it sounded like I was under water. Before I blacked out I felt a hand touch the side of my face, and just by the love, passion and comfort that traveled through this person's touch, I kew exactly who it was.   It was Jc.

I woke up in rather bright room. My eyes strained from opening to such light. But once they were into full effect I looked down at my arms and I had needles and tubes that lead into my skin. As I looked back up Jc quickly rushed to my side, I looked at him and I immediately put my hand to his face. He lined his hand with mine and pulled my palm to his mouth and kissed my hand. I started to smile, then I interlocked my fingers with his, not ever wanting to let go. 

I looked over to my left and there was a very tall guy that stood against the wall looking at me and Jc with a small smile spread across his face. I said quietly

"Who are you?" I said with full curiosity and my hand held out for him to come and grab.

He walked towards me in sort of a swift move to grab my hand and said, 

"I'm Kian I've seen you around around school and can I just say you and Jc look adorable together!" 

I smiled and looked at Jc then back at Kian and said

"Yeah I guess we do!" Jc leaned down to kiss me and I kissed him back.

They still both remained holding my hands it made me feel safe, beautiful, and worthy. A nurse entered my room and asked to speak to Jc. I looked at the nurse, then back at Jc with complete confusion. Jc looked at me and said

"I'll be right back" and ended his statement with a kiss on my forehead.

He then looked at Kian and said "Stay with her!" then letting go of my hand.

Kian nodded his head, and my eyes followed Jc as he exited with the nurse. I looked up at Kian and my eyes started to fill with tears, he then sat down on the bed beside me still holding my hand now with both of his hands wrapped around mine. As my first tear trickled down my cheek I said 

"What do you think they're talking about?" My voice very shaky.

He replied with a smirk and said 

"Probably how strong you are being through all of this."

I looked back up at him and questioned

"You think so?"

He then replied with 

"I know so" kind of leaning closer to me and wrinkling his nose a little bit.

I let out a little chuckle and looked down at my feet that rested at the end of my hospital bed.

I then asked him how he knew Jc. He then told me the sweet intriguing story of their friendship.
