Unexpected but Beautiful

Chapter 16: Wondering

Later that night:

A couple hours have past from when Jc and Kian left. I made some dinner, I had to go to the store to get stuff for dinner, but it was delicious!! I made salmon and mashed potatoes!! Then I sat on my couch for a little bit and scrolled through social media, nothing good just a bunch of drama that happened while I was in the hospital. That's one thing I liked about being hospitalized is I was disconnected for a little bit and I didn't have to worry a whole lot! Then I found a couple of my mom's old scrap books and went through them.I then fell a sleep a couple minutes after.

I woke up to the loud, annoying sound of my alarm going off.

I arose from my pillow and pulled the covers off of me and headed over to my record player. I put my LANY record on and  headed out to my kitchen, made a cup of coffee and put some pop tarts in the toaster and headed over to the living room window and watched the sun slowly rise. Just then the pop tarts popped out of the toaster and I jumped a little and headed over to get them. I sat at the table to eat and then went back upstairs to hear my music still playing. I then picked out my out fit, which was, a pair of black leggings, a maroon skirt, and a black sweatshirt tucked into it. I went into the bathroom and put some beach waves in and then up in a messy ponytail. I then grabbed my backpack, stopped my music, grabbed my keys and phone and exited the room. 

Jc told me he was going to be picking me up for school today. Then I got a text from an unknown number that said 

"Hey, I'm coming to get you. This is Kian by the way."

"Oh....okay" I replied to his text.

A couple minutes pass and I  hear a knock on the door, I go to open it and Kian is standing there and says

"Ready to go?" a little smirk showing after his question.

I  nodded then walked out my door. He opened my door then went over to his side and got in. He looked at me before putting the key in the ignition and driving off. It took us a little bit to start talking then I asked him

"So where is Jc exactly??"

"Oh, he is at a job interview for after high school!" He said

"Oh wow!!" I exclaimed

He then said "Yeah I have one after I drop you off"

"Oh my gosh, well good luck!" I said before we pulled up to the front of the school. We got out and I met him on his side of the car we hugged then he held both of my hands tight and said to me,

"Be smart, If you have any problems call or text Jc and I and we will get to you as soon as we can!"

"okay" I responded

He then kissed me on my forehead, which kind of made me feel awkward but we, were friends. With that I crossed the street once I got on campus I turned around and waved at Kian, he waved back and drove off.

It comes around 5th period and we all go outside, Kian and Jc then arrive and they join me by the wall, as we sat on at the tables everyone kind of gave all three of us a weird look, almost a look of disgust.
