A Month Later

Carlos POV:

I don't know why but Harley has been getting pretty distant lately. Every time I ask to hang out she says she's busy. 

I decided to follow her and then I saw her doing something that I never thought in a million years would happen

She was kissing. Anthony Tremaine.

ANTHONY FRICKIN' TREMAINE!!

I decided to give her another chance but day after day, she kept going to see Tremaine. About after ten days I had enough. I followed her again and right in the middle of their make-out session I decided to yell in a voice able to scare them away from each other.

"What the hell are you two doing?!" I said from the rooftop I was standing on. I jumped down and sticked the landing like a boss.

"Carlos!" Harley exclaimed."I can explain."

"Really, how long has this been going on?" I said.

"Just today babe, I promise." Harley pleaded.

"LIAR! You've been seeing each other since two weeks ago." Carlos said. "I caught you two in the middle of a make-out session ten days ago."

Harley looked shocked.

"If you knew then why didn't you stop us?" Harley asked

"Because I thought you would realize what you were doing was wrong." Carlos said. "I guess I was wrong."

Harley had a pleading look in her eyes. "Please don't leave me."

Carlos had an icy stare that could give MAL the creeps."We're done Harley." Carlos said without any remorse at all.

Then he left but not after he gave a smirking Anthony a punch to the gut and then the face.

I guess my mom was right, Carlos thought, love is weak and pointless
