Mal X Carlos

Family Day

Carlos POV:

"As you all know, Sunday is Family Day at Auradon Prep. And since your parents can't come due to distance." Fairy Godmother said. "We've arranged for a special treat."

We saw our parents and pretty much zoned out until I heard my mom.

"Carlos, is that a dog?Oh, yes, yes, baby, I do understand.It would make the perfect size for earmuffs." Cruella said maniacally

"He's the perfect size for a pet." I said

"Oh!" she said in surprise

"This dog loves me, and I love him.And fyi, your dog is stuffed!" I said harshly.

"Oh!" she said 

"So give it a rest!" I said and then walked away carrying Dude.

Time Skip to Family Day

Some of the Auradon kids sang their version of, "Be Our Guest." and I finished chasing Dude down I heard someone say.

"You!"

I saw Aurora's mother Queen Leah staring at Mal and I instantly rushed to her side along with Ben, Evie, and Jay. 

"Queen Leah, It's okay. Maleficent is still on the island. This is her daughter, Mal. Don't you remember my proclamation to give the new generation a chance?

"A chance to what, Ben? Destroy us? My daughter was raised by fairies because of your mother's curse. So her first words, her first steps, I missed it all! You mustn't trust her." Queen Leah said with pain.

Mal started to go to comfort her. "I'm so so..."

"Go away! Stay away from her!" Chad said stepping in front of Mal. 

"Don't do this, Chad." Ben said

"What? They were raised by their parents, Ben. What do you think villains teach their kids? Huh? Kindness? Fair play? No way, okay? Uh-uh. You stole another girl's boyfriend.

"Hey, hey!" Jay said.

"Oh. You enjoy hurting people." Chad said 

Then he reached Evie.

"And you, you're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater." Chad said.

Then he looked at Carlos."You're probably here to fetch your mommy a fur coat." Chad smirked.

"You know what I've had enough of this." Carlos said shaking with rage."You all have no idea what it is like to live on the Isle."

"Queen Leah, you said you missed Aurora's first words and steps." Carlos said. "Guess what, when Mal took her first steps, Maleficent was knocking her down. And when she spoke her first words Maleficent was telling her to shut up." 

"When Jay took his first steps, Jafar was teaching him to run his junk shop and steal. And when he spoke his first words, his father was teaching him to lie his way into getting peoples belongings." 

"When Evie took her first steps, her mother wasn't paying attention, all she cared about was making sure Evie got a prince. And when she spoke her first words, Evil Queen didn't care. She told Evie she wouldn't get anywhere from being smart and all that mattered was her looks.

"And guess what, I took my first steps my mom was giving me all of the chores in the house and when I said my first words she told me to shut up and get back to work. And if I refused she would beat me until I gave in."

"It can't possibly be that bad." Audrey muttered.

"What's that Audrey. You got something to say?" Carlos asked

"It can't possibly be that bad." Audrey said. "I mean even if their mean that doesn't mean you get to steal what ever you want."

"You know what that's it." Carlos said rolling up his pant sleeve.

"Carlos, you don't have to show them." Mal said.

"No." he said. "they need to know what it's like."

When he was done rolling up the sleeve, everyone gasped at the scars on his leg.

"A year ago, I was running from Mal, Evie, and Jay because I thought they were going to beat me up. But all they wanted was for me to join them. I ran into my mom's fur closet to hide and I felt one of my mom's bear traps bite my leg. These three found me and got the bear trap out but they had to go. When my mom found me she screamed. But not because I had scars on my leg. It was because I got blood on my mom's fur coats. I can say without a doubt that she loves them way more than she loves me. She even made me sleep outside until I got out the stain and the smell. So now do you now what it's like to live from our perspective?"

They all nodded.

"Good, because I'm tired of you judging us based off of who our parents are." Carlos said. "If you need me I'll be at my dorm." Carlos said to his friends.

Carlos walked away leaving everyone, even his friends in complete shock.

Finally, Chad got owned! Hope you enjoyed. Comment if you would like anything in the next chapters. I will try to fit it into the story.
