Carlos POV:
I decided to take up Mal on her to join her crew since I didn't have Harley to distract me.
I was still pretty pissed off about Harley cheating so I had an icy expression usually Mal would have on.
I saw them and walked up to them.
"Hey Mal," I said, "does the offer still stand?"
"Yeah, what made you change your mind?"
"Me and Harley broke up." I said with my icy expression.
"Shouldn't you be little bit more shaken by that?" Jay asked.
I gave him an icy look that immediately shut him up.
No One's POV:
"I caught her cheating, ten times." Carlos replied."I was as shaken as I could ever be. After the third time I pretty lost any feelings I had for her after that."
"Well sure why not ." Mal said. "But first, you most complete the eye exam."
"The what?" Carlos said
"I stare at you and you have to hold my gaze for a minute if your gaze wavers then you lose. You hold it you can join." Mal explained
"Sure, why not." Carlos said.
They started and after 30 seconds Carlos was still holding his gaze. But after 45 seconds his eyes started turning a blood red instead of their usual brown. After 30 more seconds something happened that Mal could have never predicted.
Mal looked away.
"Well, looks like I'm joining the crew." Carlos said while Jay and Evie had shocked looks on their face. "See you guys tomorrow."
Carlos has powers now. WHAAAAAAAAATTTT!!! Yes he does. In this story Carlos's dad is going to be a character I created. His name is Dakota Armageddon. He can change his eyes to a blood red color and when he does that he can do stuff like levitate, set stuff on fire, read minds, and other things like that. So can Carlos but he doesn't know that yet.
