Mal X Carlos

Chapter 21

Mal POV:

I heard those words and I just froze. Did Carlos just say he's in love with me?

What do I do?

"Mal." Carlos said. "Are you_"

I move in and silence him by putting my lips on his. I don't feel anything and I start to worry until I feel Carlos kissing back.

This is happening, Mal thought. I'm kissing Carlos!

I pull away and "Wow." is all I could manage to say.

"Yeah." Carlos said.

"How long have you felt like this?" I asked.

"When you proclaimed your love for Ben. I felt something I never felt before. Jealousy." Carlos said. "That's when I knew I loved you. So I disappeared and decided that I had to get myself together before I came back."

"How long have you felt like this?" Carlos asked.

"When I saw you and Harley together back on the Isle, I felt really jealous." Mal said.

"Oh, so that's why you gave her a death glare." Carlos said.

"Yup." Mal said.

"So what do you want us to be?" Carlos asked.

"What do you want us to be?" Mal asked.

"Boyfriend and girlfriend, you?" Carlos said.

"Same." Mal said.

"Well, time to make it official." Carlos said and pulled Mal on top of him so their lips met. Mal immediately kissed back and they kissed passionately until they were rudely interrupted by Guess-Who.

"Carlos, can you help me with my homework?" Jay said. Then he saw Mal on top of Carlos."Did I interrupt something?" 

"Yes, you did." Mal said. "Now get out."

"Hey this is my dorm." Jay protested.

"Get.Out." Carlos said, his eyes glowing blood-red. 

"Kay, bye guys." Jay ran out in fear.

"Now." Carlos said. "Where were we? Oh right."

Carlos started kissing Mal again until she pulled away.

"What is it?" Carlos asked.

Mal got off of him and locked the door.

"To make sure no one interrupts us again." Mal said.

Then she ran right back to Carlos and started kissing him. They eventually fell asleep in each other's arms.
